    this game may be pretty bad, but you gotta give them credit for making a 3D open world game on the ps1.

    Everything in this game is creepy af! And everything in it wants you dead! The darkness of this game is quite frightening (it even darkens your room at night lol)!! The cave, the streets vibe, the black void, the atmosphere, the freakin kamikaze trucks, the alarms, the enemies popping up out of nowhere everywhere, the sound effects echo, the loading screen, the soundtrack, the footsteps, the colors, the laugh at the intro, the unknown, I LOVE IT!! I remember playing this game for hours and hours just cruising around, because it was fun, it was something different, unique..... Oh and as for the missions, screw that freaky shit! nightmare fuel, there was no way I could've played his game at night back then.... SPOOKY stuff that I was addicted to for some strange reason!!?

    @xxhardforcorexx1231

    I have no idea of what you're talking about considering it works just fine on consoles. Not to mention, is it really fair for you to say the game is shit just because your computer is? The RAM requirement for Arkham Knight is 6GB, but way to exaggerate.

  • @tatsumaru12345

    @tatsumaru12345

    7 жыл бұрын

    Ah you really have no clue how Arkham Knight was on PC at launch do ya? A quick youtube search will tell you. I had 8gb of ram, a amd 8320, a gtx 980, and you could barely play it at all. Every hour, memory leaks would cause the game to become a literal slideshow. When they pulled the game from steam for months because it simply barely worked? That says something mate. I didn't mention consoles... I didn't mention the game is shit... The game has had many patches... 'granted, still not where it should be...' So ya either had a bad night, or didn't read the comment all that well.

  • @xxhardforcorexx1231

    @xxhardforcorexx1231

    7 жыл бұрын

    Well that's rich, as if you have any room to write about misreading when you patently didn't properly read or comprehend my comment, did ya? I bought it for my PlayStation and experienced no errors. A quick Google search will tell you that Arkham Knight only requires 6GB of RAM, so if you can't handle that, I'd say it's time for you to save up for a non-potato piece of machinery, that is, if you want to modernly game. Now, if the issue was in something not related to amount of RAM that everyone was experiencing, that's obviously another story, but what your statement about the game being shit at launch (and you did call it shit, unless you liked those flaws you're bitching about) says to me is what I already know, don't waste your time buying games at launch. I know you didn't mention consoles, that was me. If the game is still fucked after many patches and a couple of years, it just makes me glad that I'm not solely a PC gamer. Arkham Knight certainly isn't the first game I've heard PC gamers complain about while I experienced no issues playing it on a console.

    The memories I have of this aren't great... I know there was something I must've liked (just Batman perhaps) because I kept playing no matter how frustrated I was. I remember being stuck at some Glitterati place for a long time... I didn't make too much progress in this game. And then there the other thing where the car was kind of glued at all times to the ground like a train... You could speed off a bump and the car would... Da.. I can't... just can't. But like someone has already said, an open world game in this era is something. Soul Reaver is still to me the best 3D action adventure game of this era. Excellent controls and camera...

    I loved the game pretty much when I was young. Finding clues, battle against the NPC at different times, find clues to understand everything. The game was amazing back then. Sometimes, I wished that time stood still in this game era. So that this game would still be amazing

    This is amazing detail for a PS1 game. Like GTA3 level of detail. But of course the draw distance is like 10’ lol.

    This game seems kind of of too ambitious for the PS1 hardware. The free-roaming formula would later be perfected in the Arkham game series.
