Really impressed by this piece. The war-bat looks amazing and it really does look like it was taken right from the movie. Super happy that they didn't just give plain materials and claim it was to match the animation, instead they put great weathering and detail in just enough appropriate places. Only thing is that is does look a little chunky without the armor, but I think that's needed for the Samurai armor to look good. Think the movie left a lot to be desired, but this figure checks all the boxes for me. Makes me also want the other characters because i did love the character designs.

Totally agree there!

I absolutely love this figure, although I had one issue with mine: the left leg was on backwards! Thankfully, I was able to turn it around completely without effecting the rubber suit too much. The suit was glued at the ankle so the suit was twisted, but the shorts, armour and the knee-high boots covered the twisting of the rubber suit.

The gripping hands seems a little small alongside the bulky arms, and I wish there was a bit more paint or wash on the armor pieces, but overall great figure and great review!

Really cool figure this one, top notch review as always!!! Have you considered getting some figures from Asmus Toys? Mainly from the Lord of the Rings line. Would love to know waht you think about at least some of their work, I personally think they do an awesome job and they are definetley worth checking out.

I love this figure, personally. Not only an amazing translation from the film, but accurate to true samurai armor as well. The attention to detail is spot on.

The saya are just a red the tsuba are basic but i still like the katana The kunai are only ever used for throwing like anime gets it more accurate Kunai were made as daggers for thrusting but they could be thrown but that doesnt mean ninja and samurai only ever threw them

As much as I love the figure I find the sword placements a right pain, in doesn’t hang right at all especially trying to put the war armour piece on as well. Scabbard just keeps falling. Annoying as hell.
