There is a lot of good stuff coming for VR soon on both Quest and PC, and if you get a Quest 3 you have access to all of that content, not just what is on the Quest store. Behemoth, Alien: Rogue Incursion, Batman, Metro Awakening, Into the Radius 2, Wanderer: The Fragments of Fate, Arken Age, and the full release of Blade and Sorcery including the story mode all come to mind when it comes to high quality VR experiences coming this year alone. This is excluding all of the great content that is ALREADY available. There has never been a better time to get into VR gaming than now. People keep telling you to wait for the cheaper Quest 3S but the 3 is really worth it. The Quest 3S is going to have fresnel lenses and similar displays to the Quest 2, and that kind of cheapens the experience for me a little bit.

The b*tching people have towards this game is overexaggerated AF. So many underestimate the power of VR, especially Meta Quest 3. The Arkham franchise has so much potential to be expanded and explored through a 1st person POV. You literally becoming the Batman. If you listen to the creative director in recent interviews and you can tell he and his team love and respect this world and how they want to translate the combat and predator mechanics to VR. Ryan Payton said that this game is gonna be around the length of Arkham Ayslum. Also, having Batman be a flagship title for VR can increase the hardware's relevance in the marketplace. Ya'll need to chill the hell down. I don't have a VR and I'm still hyped for this game.

Half Life Alyx has shown that when VR is done Correctly it is the superior way of Playing Games. This looks awesome so far. I'm sure it will be great

The game is being developed by a Meta studio. If it wasn't for that, there would be no Arkham game. Not only that, but i just read Rocksteady didn't even want to do another superhero game, and it shows with how Suicide Squad turned out. $500 is a lot of money, and if i didn't have a few gift cards lying around from a few Christmases to knock the price down i probably would have waited for a price drop on eBay. To me its not much different than dropping $500 on an Xbox or PS5 because I know there's more games I'm gonna play on it. Also, Meta is going to release a cheaper Quest 3 "lite" hopefully before Arkham Shadow comes out.

a cheaper quest 3 is releasing this year its aparrently 200-300 so save your money for that instead
