Yashameet brar As Ahmed said, this is confirmed to be the final installment of the series, and was supposed to be "the ultimate batman simulation". I don't see why they didn't allow the use of other characters when all they had to do is record a few generic lines of dialog for different characters to make it seem more realistic.

Please Rocksteady, if you are seeing this, make free roaming with all characters official! To make things even more fun make em ride the Batmobile too, why have a Robin themed Batmobile when Robin can't use it! But I'd be satisfied with just the characters free roaming with enemies! We all love Batman! But we also love many of his friends and enemies just as much!

With Knightfall protocol in the game I don't know why you don't end up playing as one of the other sidekicks.

I wonder why they don't just let us free roam on our own without having to do this

Now, Rocksteady has literally zero excuse for not making this properly.

Oh that's sweet! Hopefully fan reaction to this glitch will persuade Rocksteady into making freeroam available for every character with and occupied city, but I'm doubtful that will happen. This is great though, thanks for the tutorial!

If you prefer previous games of arkham, thats fine, but dont run your mouth about the biggest most jam packed arkham game to date being lackluster, when it for a fact has the most amazing amount of content, gameplay mechanics, well organized and diverse side missions, and the biggest most detailed gorgeous map out of all of all the arkham games; not to even mention its breath taking borderline revolutionary visuals. Get your eyes checked, or go back to school to learn how to properly analyze things, because thats ridiculous terminology for such a monster size of a game. As i said, its okai to prefer the previous games, there is nothing wrong with that, it is okai to have an opinion, but dont let it hinder obvious fact.

You can use any character for the glitch into bleake island, you can go to the edge of the bridge and jump into the wall because there's the slightest bit that's on the other half of the water under the next to the bridge, if you fall through there than it teleports you to the other side because that's the side that your closest to.

This is exactly what I need for my series, thank you

Seriously rocksteady, if someone took enough time to find a glitch like this to free roam with any character, it's saying something about how much we want it. XD

I remember them once stating that they weren’t gonna make Characters available in free-roam because “the world was designed around Batman, and traversing Gotham wouldn’t work as anybody else”. BULL SHIT! I don’t care if traversal isn’t as easy, I still wanna be able to walk, jump, glide and run around Gotham as EVERYONE even if it’s only post-game after Nightfall or something

Madshepherd well in Arkham city they did put catwoman as a playable character, i don't know why did they remove that since climbing with catwoman was terrible (for me).

I agree that going around Arkham City as Catwoman wasn’t easy, and wasn’t very convenient. But it’s still nice to have the option, and the freedom of doing so. They could have implemented it better for all of them. Robin could glide like Batman, Catwoman can pounce like she did in City, Harley could do Acrobatics. And for Red hood and Nightwing they could have implemented an abseiling mechanic with a grapnel hook

They should also give nightwing his little retractable glider wings like he has in other incarnations

I don't know why they removed the character switch from Arkham City, it was a good idea

They should just add free roam. Who cares if the map was built for Batman it would still be a tun of fun if u go to mess around and best up bad guys as other people. The only one you could play was cat women in arkham city. Add free roam.

I would gladly pay for the option to free roam with all characters. They can price it higher than the season of infamy for all I fucking care. I just think that it is the logical final step for the trilogy. It would definitely be the best dlc/update in my Opinion.

What makes batman fun is the story you go through once i finish the story it gets boring just gliding around with no purpose...at least for me anyways i dont know how you or anyone could find endless gliding fun.

If only rocksteady didn't fckng pour all their energy with the riddler trophy ,maybe they would make this a reality

It has been discovered that AR Challenges happen in the beggining of the story (Meet Gordon at the Batsignal). So when you try entering the island, it doesn't let you, just like in the campaign (except you are on the other side) So, basically, the game doesn't allow you to leave it because you need to meet Gordon. If there was a way to progress through the story inside AR Challenges, that wall would disappear. However, as there is no way to progress through the story inside AR Challenges, the wall will still not allow you to exit (in this case enter) the island.

well, regardless of these people's disrespect, I personally thank you for this video, even it it won't work it makes me happy knowing someone out there was able to roam the city with whomever they please. I wish this was an option in game. it's getting hard to stay content with this game. but I love it so much. nice video man.

I think this is the only mistake with Arkham Knight. Once the main storyline is over, you should be able to carry on as one of the other playable characters, finishing off what batman did not.

You can easily get over the invisible wall as any character, just get really close to it jump, make sure your character freezes and then just let them fall.

My thing is that burns me up about Batman and I love that how the heck you make a game so good so realistic and you cut some of the stuff out that's been in the games for years don't make sense we shouldn't have to glitch it to do it but thank God this guy I got to do what I got to do

How are there fighting styles and designs for all these different motions that are only possible when the character is being controlled by a player, if we weren’t supposed to be able to play with them?

I've been a console gamer for a my whole life and I've wanted to free roam as sidekicks since arkham city... my dreams have come true thanks caboose I'd never find this on my own I gave up searching a while ago

Kinda useless IMO you don't get to fight anyone. You just get to go around the city. But there is hope that rocksteady will actually let you officially free roam with these characters. Maybe even add in vehicles!

The developers should've included free roam as a game mode at least in Batman: Arkham Knight. Because every player would love to freely roam the city with one or the other characters in the game. Every time players have to use some mods or use some glitches to do this.

I did it by first going into the challenge map called terminal velocity or deconstruction (those 2 maps I know work) and when the challenge starts try to avoid being seen but try your best to get to the spot caboose did to do the glitch. Get in the corner cover and throw a gadget but while your character is still in the process of throwing the gadget press square or X (for Xbox one) and then release the left trigger and after you release the trigger press the trigger again and then press the right trigger. Then you should be out of the map, hope this helps!

They should give Nightwing those weird armpit glider things he has, but only when he's gliding.

I think catwoman is the best for free roaming. She can climb walls and swing from building to building.

I am here from 2022 to confirm this glitch still works on my Xbox Series X and PS5 but it is extremely hard to do you have to precisely do it correctly in order for the glitch to work it takes a few tries until the glitch works 😢 I swear rocksteady studios could have made Arkham Knight the ultimate Batman game of all time if they allowed other characters to free Roam around Gotham City and actually do challenges 🤦 But that is a missed opportunity 😢 This game could have been game of the year However I still give it five stars because it's by far the best Batman Arkham game of all time because of the batmobile 😍👍 Even in 2022 I'm still amazed how good the graphics looks at upscaled 4K 😍👍 fuck all the haters who didn't like Arkham Knight You are not a true Batman fan If you didn't like Arkham Knight Case closed 🤦

Why would rocksteady patch this? It was the only way to freeroam and it proved that it could be done! Just why?

Is this in a challenge pack and if it is which one is it in? Youd really be helping me out

Did this get patched? We can't get it to work, does the route there matter and that exact spot or just corner cover and movement series?

I noticed there are no enemies to fight so I don't see the point of the glitch. I don't think it would be fun.

if rocksteady knows about this and let caboose upload this they might keep this in or make this official

Does this still work? I've been trying, but I can't seem to get it. The character just throws the item. Theres also a guy that walks out forcing me to wait a second before hitting the corner.

To everyone saying it should be official to freeroam with everyone and not a glitch, Rocksteady was trying to make this the best Batman game ever and they still are by releasing more side missions. They aren't worried about stuff like this, they want to give us objectives to do so maybe when they are done trying to make this game better they will make this official but honestly I don't mind only being able to freeroam with Batman.
