RagingSalamence Technically, they're strangles, not chokes. (A choke cuts off air by pressing against the windpipe; a strangle cuts off blood to the brain by pressing against the carotid). And they're used by some police departments. If you know what you're doing, it's relatively safe.

Yeah, I love it too. The Arkham games are fantastic. Totally implausible, but that comes with the territory of superheroes. I mean we've got Freeze, Clayface, Bane, Poison Ivy, etc. None of that would ever happen, so suspension of disbelief isn't hard here.
