I still think this is the best Batman story told outside of a comic book. And even after the Spider-Man game, this is still the greatest superhero game. It’s a total masterpiece, and rest easy Kevin Conroy

@@kennycodes the only thing that I think is better in Spider-Man 2 than in Arkham City is how the characters are written or fleshed out (that is specifically for Peter. But at the same time I wasn’t a big fan of Miles’ role, who often felt like filler). Everything else, from story, pacing, combat (which is more technical and smoother), stealth, problem solving, bosses, tone, atmosphere, open world, and the collectibles are all better in Arkham City.

I think that's what made Batman be shook to the core. After Joker died , realizing that Theatre was the same one he had to watch his parents die from,now seeing the Joker die there is like destroying the evil that was born their thst day and facing and overcoming it

Here we are in June 2021 and this is still one of the best games ever made. The combat 10/10, the storyline 10/10, the villains and their voicing ( Mark hamill as joker, if you didn’t know Mark hamill is who played Luke skywalker in Star Wars, awesome guy) is a 10/10. I consider myself lucky I was born in 2000 because when I was a kid, these were the games I played and will remember till I get old. These got a special place in my heart lol

Wish they made 60 fps cutscenes for pc. 30 already looks worse but if you play the game at 60 fps on pc, the cutscenes suffer from severe stutters as you can see on this video as well.

The antidote is extremely sensitive, that's the reason why Batman had to get Ra's Al Ghuul's blood; he had to make sure it didn't break down once it entered the body. If it's so sensitive inside the human body it would have immediately spoiled the moment it spilled on the floor.

Only in SyFy films does that work. Added compounds outside a serum negates the intention of a focused cure. That part they got correct.

@@tonyt2005 The cutscenes and character models in arkham asylum are horrible. Only the gameplay is good in AA. As for AC the game stutters. The character models are again bad in cutscenes. It was a rushed development. They needed to delay it imo but they just released it as it was.

fair but it is the most fun imo

people used to praise the story but just replay it recently, the story is rather weak, like Batman throw away Mr. Freeze's vial and good thing it still have enough fluid to keep him alive, Batman didn't bother to help find Freeze's wife either, Talia also try to bargain with Joker even though she could just sneak behind him and stab him then, they also seem to forgot about all the other people still got infected by Joker's blood as well since the cure is gone.

The Freeze vial liquid always irritated me lol. The story has some plotholes for sure but I think its strength is being a showcase of so many Batman characters being done justice. It's actually the game that got me into Batman.
