The thing about Telltale Joker is that he is actually super smart, he just is socially awkward. He struggles with how to proceed when it comes to relationships, he isn't great at reading a room, and he has trouble with not using violence. But all of that doesn't mean he's stupid or blind. Personally, I think he suspected that Bruce was Batman all the way back in season 1 but he wasn't certain until season 2 when he saw Bruce leave when the Batsignal appeared. He never brought it up because he didn't want to lose his relationship with Bruce, and he probably realized that Batman wouldn't be a fan of his new friends, so he figured that Bruce could still be a part of his life in his civilian identity.

In Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe (the game that scene took place in) all the characters power fluctuates from a powerful Rage that is caused by the merging of the Mortal Kombat Earth and the DC Universe Earth, and it increases strength and other powers in some people, and weakens others. Recently, Joker fought Sonya Blade, and after defeating her, his Rage kicked in, allowing him to push Deathstroke aside so he could fight Kano himself. Once they made it back to Earth from the Green Lantern Space Station (what I’m calling it because I don’t know the actual name) Joker beats up Deathstroke because of the Rage, and decides to go kill Batman, feeling almost unstoppable. When Batman encounters him, Joker was strengthened enough from the Rage to send him flying with a little punch, and he won the fight, only to do a victory dance and get tased by Batman.

The problem is there's a choice in the Telltale game to essentially tell John Doe you have a crush on him as Bruce then John rejects you because he's not gay. John Doe is the Joker. So having that line in the game was unneccessary.

Haha, thank you! :D True, I still remember that some years back I discussed a plotline where Joker (in disguise) sits uninvited next to Bruce at a restaurant and how it would go - what would they talk about, how would Bruce realize that it's Joker, would he play along, etc, it was really interesting :D I mean, EVEN IF they went on an actual date, WHAT the hell would they talk about? XD PURE FAX. I don't watch the show, I don't really care for it, but this it did right. FAX I always try to mix it up as much as possible, so it won't get too repetetive and boring :D A batjokes salad if you will Joker's thong is a running joke at this point-

I feel like anyone who knows a somewhat shallow amount of Batman lore knows that Joker is absolutely in love with him. Like, there’s no arguments there. Parts of me wish that they never made Joker the Most Evil Villain Ever, because it’s so clear that all he wants is Batman’s attention 😩 he could be reformed, like John Doe’s version, and they could be best buds, if not boyfriends. And Batman’s obsession with saving the Joker, no matter the cost, means something more than just, “I can’t break the code!” He wants to save Joker more than anything. It’s such a sweet, tragic relationship. If you take out all the murder and abuse, of course. All this comes from someone who only barely knows about the Batman series. I’m sure if I were to read about all the horrible things Joker did, I couldn’t see him as the cutesy, insane-but-could-reform mental patient. Ah, but that’s the beauty of being a shipper. I don’t gotta know the lore, just the characters 😁
