I mean, the Animated Series was originally meant as sort of a tie in to ride off the success of the first movie, and a lot of stylistic choices were made to follow suit. I definitely see significant influence from Burton in the Arkham games, especially considering they themselves are following an altered universe of the Animated Series. Take the retro gothic time bubble of Gotham, those big animal blimps out in front of the GCPD in Knight. Most importantly... Robin with a blonde buzzcut... lol

That would be litteraly BEAUTIFUL. Imagine an animated 1989 Joker voiced again by Jack Nicholson.. and an animated Penguin and Catwoman voiced by the original actors... just imagine.. all new lines by all of them.. maybe even Tim Burton could be the creative director and include new villians he always wanted to include but couldn't, maybe he could even get the original actors he wanted.. SO MANY possibilities. Imagine Danny Elfman scoring the games cutscenes.. ugh. The ideas can flow forever because it's just such a fun and great idea!

Oh my god same, this makes me cry thinking about all the old memories.

This is my favorite Batman costume of all time. I can still remember seeing this in the theaters in the late 80s and thinking Batman is fantastic.

The best suit, the best soundtrack, EVER!!!

@Rushad Doodhmal Ahahaha...No. That was a bulky, blocky, ugly mess of a “Batmobile”. All that para-military sh*t with the blocky armor Batsuit, the aforementioned Tumbler, the Bat-Pod (a lame excuse for a Batcycle), and the “Bat” flying vehicle from TDKR used in the Nolan films was a stupid design choice. Pair that with a typical bland soundtrack by Hans Zimmer and Bale’s ear grating Batman voice...Yuck. Goodbye and good riddance to all that rubbish. The two Burton movies got Batman right, and will always be the best cinematic interpretation of the Batman. Sorry to all the Nolan fanboys, but it’s the truth.

DAMN RIGHT!!! Its not batman unless the 1989/1992 Danny Elfman score is playing in the background! You can change the actor, you can change the costume, you can change the batmobile, you can change gotham, you can change the villains. But you can not change the score! Everytime I think of Batman I hear that Danny Elfman score playing in the background. That should be true for everyone!

Epitome of batman and that universe it inhabits. Burton's Gotham and batman is the only Gotham and batman , elfmans score is the only score . It's definitive and its final. It's that simple anything else is sub par

I'm just saying the Danny Elfman score should be synonymous with the character like you can't do Star Wars or Indiana Jones without that John Williams score playing in the background. The same should be with Batman and Danny Elfman.

This theme does not work with bale and affleck, Specially Affleck's because BvS was Dark and this playing in the background would ruin the mood

Danny Elfman's music will never be topped!

Just imagine, it's 1990, you are a 20-30 something who has grown up reading DC Comics, you have watched Adam West, you have read the magnificent take in TDKR in 1985, you get to know from newspaper, radio and TV that there is a "Batman movie" in town, there is a buzz that it's a "different" superhero movie, darker, not kidsy. You buy the ticket, watch the crowd and the poster and your curiosity arises. You go in the dark theater, that nostalgic smell of single screens, the people, the popcorn and soda, the murmurs, the squeky chairs, it's pitch dark, and this theme starts playing while your eyes are transfixed on the screen, the epic soundtracks filling your ears and the dark visuals filling the space while everyone else goes silent around you, your existence preparing you that this epic moment is something that you have never experienced your whole life , while your eyes widen and you see your dark childhood hero coming to life in the most epic way possible. Lucky are those who were there to verify my words to life.
