Batik | how to use tjanting batik tool

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Batik is Indonesian technique of wax resist. We can dye the fabric after batik and paint it too with silk paints. In this video i applied wax with tjanting batik tool and than paint the grip silk with the silk paints. You can use silk dyes too. Heat the wax and than apply the melted wax with tjanting tool is a amazing experience. We can make Dots, lines, shapes and designs with wax. There are few important points to discuss.
1- Heat the wax maximum 120c .
2- Dip Tjanting tool in hot wax for 10 to 15 seconds.
3- Apply the wax quickly and make the design fast otherwise wax will solid again.
4- Fill tjanting tool 3/4 with wax.
MATERIALS I USED:
1- Fabric (grip silk 60 grams)
2- Wax (60% bees wax, 40% paraffin wax)
3- Tjanting tool
4- Silk paints
5- Wooden frame
6- Lamp and stand
7- Brushes
8- Pencil
9- Digital Temperature

@CarolAnnDPTT Yes, I corrected your text for clarity and grammatical accuracy. Here it is again for reference: I am very grateful to you. Yes, you are absolutely right, but there is a reality behind this that I want to share with you. Honestly, a day before, I bought this tjanting tool and tried it for the first time ever on a piece of silk. I was surprised that I could do it and amazingly, I did it. At that moment, I realized the greatest truth: I am blessed, and the talent which Allah gave me is my beautiful gift from Him. The next day, I set my mobile on a stand, started using this tool, and made my video. I know we need lots of practice and retakes during video making if we are starting from zero practice. But fortunately, I completed all the painting. All thanks to Allah for all I have. By the way, welcome to you from Pakistan.

You're welcome. No, you can not reuse wax because after painting the fabric, you must iron it with the layers of newsprint sheets, and those sheets will absorb all the wax. 2nd yes you can wear the gloves if you feel you can not handle the hot wax.
