Your guy did a great job, but how do you explain to the client that the water-stop will be visible and covered with wp membrane? In addition, wouldn’t be better to fill the gap between the shower base tiles and the wall with silicone or polyurethane instead of cementitious grout? Thanks for these videos

Glad you like them! The waterstop will generally be covered with the installation of the shower screen or an alternate material. The video does not reach this step of the installation. As for the junction, the use of silicone will allow for a greater mount of movement but this is not necessary. Application of grout in this area is suitable, albeit, if the installation encounters high movement cracks could develop in the more rigid cementitious grout.

CA20P and CA20P are interchangeable in this scenario. Both the older CA20P and the newer CA20P Plus would both be suitable for this application.

Why did you waterproof below the screed and above, that isn't a requirement is it?

Good question @donnastein4946 - No this is not a requirement. Just for demonstration purposes. To be compliant with the Australian Standards, the active membrane must be applied to a substrate with falls to wastes.
