I,Joginder Singh Gill, am indebted to the residents of village Bathoi Khurd, especially the youth, who extended their overwhelming support for recoding the happy and sad movements of pre and post partition days and the life style of the mixed population of Hindu, Sikhs and the Muslims. And it is a positive thing that till date Hindu,Muslims and Sikhs are living in this village like real brothers and sisters, an innate quality of Punjabis in general, though some of our Muslim brothers and sisters had to leave their home and hearths under the transitory apprehension that their lives would not be secure in their ancestral village, owing to repercussions afer the unnatural division of the great Punjab.But I saw nostalgic expressions on the faces of the old and young of this beautiful and prosperous village. Let us hope for the best with the wish that the wrongs done by our elders would be undone by the vibrant youth of the Punjab in both sides of Wahga.

ਇਹ ਦੱਸਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਮੁੱਚੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧੀਆ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਰਿਹਾ। ਪਿੰਡ ਵਾਸੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਿਲਾਪੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 1947 ਵੇਲੇ ਹਿਜਰਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਗਏ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਿੱਦਤ ਨਾਲ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। I am very happy to say that the entire villagers were very supportive while making the video in the village. The villagers are very friendly and affectionate. These people vividly remember the Muslim brothers who migrated from their village in 1947.

ਇਕ ਅਨੋਖੀ ਗੱਲ ਬਾਤ ਆ ਜੀ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਾਸੀ ਇਕਠੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ,ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿੰਡ ਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੂਟਿੰਗ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਇਕਠੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ

مجھے یہ اعلان کرتے ہوئے بہت خوشی ہوئی ہے کہ گاؤں میں ویڈیو بناتے ہوئے پورے گاؤں والے بہت معاون رہے ہیں۔ دیہاتی بہت دوستانہ اور پیار کرنے والے ہیں۔ یہ لوگ مسلمان بھائیوں کو پوری طرح سے یاد کرتے ہیں جو 1947 میں اپنے گاؤں سے ہجرت کر گئے تھے۔
