I should've gotten 2 of these. It smells almost identical to Maple Cinnamon Pancakes from a few winters back. I love it❤❤. I agree with you tht the maple comes through, not like heavy PPW maple but a smoother maple

I just started burning this one, and I agree it's smells delicious! Great throw also. I'm going to go back tomorrow and exchange one scent that I have buyers remorse about and grab another one of these brioche French toast candles. ❤

Bonnie I think the chocolate macadamia has lid issues!! Rub your finger in the wax and smell it. It comes alive when burning!!

It's the candle cover on the white chocolate macadamia jar. It's a metallic smell. Try smelling it without the cover.

I honestly haven’t been interested in the BABW scents this year (I still have Christmas candles from last year that I’m burning) the only candle that has my interest is the English crunchy toffee but I can’t bring myself to go to the store🤣🤣🤣🤣 I did place an order with Goose Creek. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how good the quality of those candles are and the throws are amazing!!! I’m new to Goose Creek, the Strawberry Shortcake collection you shared earlier this year is what got me into them. That collection is PERFECTION for a gourmand scent lover like myself🍓

It's supposed to be Murano glass. But it's a plastic wrap around label. So this is what we have. It should be prettier when lit, like a luminarie.

When lit, my White Chocolate Macadamia is gorgeous. I love the light sweet smell and the unassuming small label too. It is a nice change from the obnoxious huge lettering that some of the candles have. Have a lovely Sunday.

Hey Bonnie!! I commented on your video from last night about this collection. But I went to my store this morning after work and they didn't have them out yet. They were unloading them from a truck and once they brought them in, I was the first to smell all of them straight out of the boxes!! I picked up all of them!! I'm now good on candles till at least semi annual sale!!

Hi Bonnie! I just started burning brioche French toast 30 minutes ago, and it smells divine. On cold it smells just okay but the maple syrup and butter notes comes through when lit. I have an exchange to do tomorrow over a candle I have buyer's remorse over I will probably pick up another one of these! I wish the packaging was attractive though, these jars are really ugly. This collection MADE candle day for me! If they would've not had these, my haul would've been mostly Christmas candle backups with a couple of the candy collection candles. I had a lot of fun yesterday!

My store had cuddle weather and cozy cashmere but no fresh sheets. Ive been to 7 stores and its amazing how much they range. Every store has so so so many left still. One store i went to today had no joke, 5 candles in the whole store. They just didnt get any shipments at all. Sucks how much money they missed out on over that. I agree french toast.. it smells like cinnamon. I dont get much bread note from it. Caramel frap is lovely. The cocoa one just smells like raspberry and whipped vanilla to me but maybe more tart, i wish i did get chocolate from it. The cookie one im undecided about but i still bought it. A girl walked up to her mother with it and the mother went blechhhh over it but the daughter loves it lol.

I agree with you. I really like the pink cocoa and the frappuccino candles. I got the other ones to try but I’m not sure about them.

I am happy with the new candle scents. I think BBW is limiting the quantities they make. I don't like it but it's a good business move for BBW. Last year a store in my area had so much overstock, they had the same candles for months.

I got the pink cocoa one today and it smells like raspberry white chocolate cheesecake to me! I love it. Fun fact: I started watching you in 2019 when the land of sweets collection came out and I was looking for a review of Cherry Cheesecake! I still have one backup of it and probably won’t ever burn it ❤ it’s my favorite candle and super sentimental to me ❤❤❤🎄🎄 happy holidays Bonnie!

It is better when you burn it! The butter note really comes forward and balances out the cinnamon. It ends up smelling exactly like french toast

I wish they had the frappe candle was not on line

In the store I go to, they already had the vanilla birch, yesterday.

The only one I didn't see on line was the caramel frappuccino. I ordered 2 of each of the other 3 of this selection online this morning. Didn't need anymore candles after ordering 24 or more yesterday and still having a candle room full but wanted to try these. I watched kents Channel and he actually liked the French toast and the macadamia nut. He wasn't thrilled about the Hot chocolate and said the frappuccino smelled like repackage of Carmel cold Brew BBW had before. It's crazy how everyone smells things differently though .😊

I have to say that I don't like these jars, either! I was just at my local store today and didn't even notice this collection if they had it on display, it's amazing how much the visual element draws me in. I actually got two that have the most lovely jars and scents , "afternoon rainfall" and "vanilla birch". I haven't seen these jars online yet, but they're nice cozy scenes that remind me of the end of winter/very beginning of spring. Will be great to use in March. They smell lovely, too, of course!

The labels on this collection are supposed to look like Murano glass. So that’s why they have the design they do. I’m not sure how that relates to the scents themselves though.

Day #2 and my store didn’t have any of these out. 🙁 People didn’t seem to be buying much.

That caramel cappuccino candle is my favorite. It is like white caramel cold brew with more caramel and it burns a lot stronger. The brioche French toast smelled like French baguette to me. Agree with your thoughts.

I did my order online yesterday so I did not get any of the new scents but I am okay with that 😊

My store had all the new candles out on Friday except Cuddle Weather.

I felt exactly the same ….hot pink hot chocolate and caramel Frappuccino were the only two out of those four that came home with me., which was shocking to me because I really went there to purchase the brioche French toast. I hated the both that and the white chocolate macadamia, as well.

I picked up Caramel Frappuccino which was one of the four candles I picked up today. It's my favorite of all of them. This one looked like it would sell out quickly, so there was no hesitation picking it up. All of this collection was available at my local store. I was surprised as it's such a small store. Despite being a small store I see a lot of products available that my fellow Canadians can't find at their stores. I wish my local store would be renovated into a White Barn store. I don't like the labels either in this collection. It looks like BBW had just rushed these out with the labels LOL I really wanted Sweat Pea, but don't think this one is available in Canada despite having the rest of the body care collection in the candles. Go figure the one I actually wanted is not available for sale in Canada LOL

@@susanl.5226 I love it in the body care form. This one is my OG's from my very early years shopping at BBW in 2008. At the time BBW did not release as many fragrances as they do today. I'm not a floral fan myself generally, but this one is special to me. Brings me back a lot of memories. My husband loves this fragrance as well. He actually was wanting this in the candle form as well. I'm hoping I will come across it. Perhaps, it will get released here in Canada in the candle form during the Spring. 😀

Burned Hot Pink quite a while and love it. Exactly what I've been looking for. Eyes have been watering though and usually don't. Will have to see if that happens on the next burn.

Oh no that’s worrisome

Only one I liked was the Caramel Frapp. Returned the White Chocolate Macadamia, something was definitely off. Take a whiff of the lid. 🤢

Candle day this year was disappointing, I feel like everything should have been available to everyone! Instead of having to do the BOPIS. It wasn't as fun, not able to get everything I wanted. Things were sold out, the waiting in line. The OGs should have been able to purchase any candle that B&Bwks sells period. So due to that I think I only bought about 10. Every time I got online there were fewer candles offered.🤷‍♀️

I got hot pick cocoa today and I can’t figure out what it’s a repackage of! I could of sworn I got a candle that smelled just like it within the past 2 years

My husband smelled French Toast and immediately loved it. We’re maple candle lovers. It smelled so strong to us. We went throughout the whole store and he kept asking me if I wanted to get a French Toast candle. I told him I didn’t like the smell enough to buy that ugly jar. They could have at least made a cute toast sticker to slap on the front. It was his favorite, but there were plenty of better candles to me. As for Hot Pink Cocoa, I instantly hated it! Not sure why anyone would buy that when there’s the deliciously accurate Cocoa and Cream and Peppermint Hot Chocolate. The Macadamia was just eh. I didn’t realize candle day is one of those goofy “real” holidays. Kroger had a $6 candle sale. And Yankee candle had $12. Per ounce, those sales are better. But the selection at BBW can’t be beat. That being said, we’re giving my husband’s work friends BBW candles for Christmas. It’s a recognizable brand. Anything else would require triple the money and double effort to acquire. I’m happy with candle day. I’m usually happy with the one-item sales. Just frustrated with the rewards program. It’s getting harder and harder to find something within the price range. They always take two weeks to load the reward points. And the “reward member exclusives” aren’t that special. Soon the only “reward” will be the coupons that used to be sent in the mail, anyway.

I ordered the white chocolate macadamia this morning; the Frappuccino one wasn’t online. I ordered 2 of each of that collection but the reviews haven’t been glowing 😬 so I may be doing some exchanges 👎🏻

Horrific haha I smelled the macadamia one in store and it was SO light that I just left it there. Not a fan of the jars either. Maybe they will be prettier when lit? 🤞🏻

Pink lavender espresso is similar to the one out now called Lavender Marshmallow. I actually LUV Pink lavender Espresso more though 😊. Hot pink Cocoa smells like a chocolate covered berry

Pink lavender and espresso reminds me of the lavender marshmallow somewhat, hot pink cocoa is like a powdery burst of a raspberry chocolate candy. But not as much of a baked good gourmand.

It smells like brewing coffee, a coffee shop and coffee/espresso beans. There’s an underlining scent i don’t care for, but this is one of my favorite. A strong scent while cold🤎

Smelled Paris cafe again also to convince myself I needed a coffee candle but still it has a bad note to it also so I will wait even longer for a nice coffee candle I guess

I don’t like paris cafe, my mom and I are Italian and love strong coffee. To the both of us it doesn’t have a coffee scent and overall had a bland like bread or butter scent to it. 🤷‍♀️ not a fan of paris cafe at all.

I have much older BBW candles in collection and they have not gone bad. I also still have an older Winter Candle Apple in a old school mason jar that I kept that still smells good. I know some candles can lose their scent. How are you storing them?
