after adding the sky replacement as a new action following all your steps, it did work. However the I opened a new photo in PS and just clicked edit and then sky then sky replacement and an error says, can not complete task, no file found. But I can see all the files with diffreent types of skies? Any ideas?

Hey there, mine keeps opening the SaveAs dialog box when reaching the "Save" part of the action. Is there a way to stop it from doing that?

Id love to start adding this to my process but one problem I constantly come accross with the sky replacement feature is it bleeds over the eaves of the house and they need to brushed out manually. Am I missing something?

there is a simple fix for that actually. You add into your action a select subject based on your background and that will select the home itself - then use that to mask out the sky replace. The reason that works is because the Select Subject doesn't feather like the Sky Replace does. Hope that helps

Does a file path exist for your "Lightroom Actions Folder" to live on a windows machine? I just purchased your actions and is seems like there my be a windows discrepancy? Thanks!

Yes if you open the export action with a text editor you will see where it points to. Just change that and it should work fine.

You didn’t address the fact that the sky replacement looks exactly the same in every image which is not realistic at all

You're 100% right on that. Photoshop does slightly move the background sky up and down from image to image depending on the amount of sky but if your images show the same amount of sky then yes it would be the same sky over and over again. That's the main reason I created by Batch Sky Replace action pack. Thanks for watching and commenting!

True... But not only that. Often, there are some cosmetic improvements to add to the sky replacement which cannot be done in this method. It's still a good option for fast process though.

Agreed - if you check out my Batch Sky Replace Action Pack - you will be able to do some pretty cool adjustments and have it all look amazing with random clouds too.

@@Apimagery Indeed I did not until you answered. Now that I did, I am not willing to buy it anyway! Especially that we did not see how good this would work.
