bakit kaya hindi paganahin ito to power-up a desalination plant para malutas ang problema sa kakapusan ng tubig kung hindi naman mapakinabangan sa pag supply ng kuryente?

alam nyo po ba kung bakit completed but never fueled? marami po problema sa plant na yan. una, malapit sya sa fault line, ikalawa malapit sya sa bataan volcano. at marami pa pong ibang issues at problema. it'll take year pati to renovate tapos uutang nnman ang gobyerno hahaha sino nagbabayad? tax payers.

Bakit Hindi iyan maopen? Una maraming defects discovered, pangalawa no comprehensive plan where to dispose the highly toxic radioactive nuclear wastes. Disposal is very costly to ensure public safety. Philippines can invest to new technology modular small compact nuclear reactor power plant instead. Reasons for non operation is never political as cited before. Marcos na nakaupo then still unoperational Bataan nuclear power plant! All of us dreaming of low cost power ragardless of! Political belief and affiliations.

Paganahin na sayang pera ng mga Pinoy. Basta siguraduhin lang safe pati yung nuclear waste dapat madispose ng maayos.

The administration is playing with people to get what they want. This is the reason why the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) said that they will place Luzon and Visayas grids under red and yellow alerts today, April 16, as several power plants are either offline or running at a reduced capacity. A red alert status is issued when the power supply is insufficient to meet consumer demand and the transmission grid’s regulating requirement. On the other hand, a yellow alert is issued when the operating margin is insufficient to meet the transmission grid’s contingency requirement. It does not necessarily lead to a power outage. All of these is a plan to make people think that NUCLEAR POWER PLANT IS REALLY NEEDED. I am not being clairvoyant, but it is clear as a sunlight what they are after. Shame

The powerplant is severely outdated, it is at the foot of a Volcano known as Mt. Natib and it is near a faultline. Lalo na the Marcos Sr. Admin pa ang nagsabi na hindi safe patakbuhin ang powerplant (letter of instruction No. 957 s. 1979). If shit happens, can we even handle a crisis like Fukushima? We are not Japan. Napakalapit pa ng powerplant sa Greater Manila Area kung saan 34 million nakatira at 50% ng ekonomiya ng bansa. Kung gusto ni cojuangco ilagay nya sa probinsya nya sa Pangasinan
