The first animal from the new Twilight Pack has just arrived in Elm Hill City Zoo and it is none other than the Egyptian Fruit Bat! 🦇 Today we will build a dedicated Bat House for those guys with the outdoor aviary and indoor cave! Huge thanks to Frontier for providing me with the early access to the new DLC!! Hope you guys will enjoy the video! 💚

Elm Hill City Zoo is the series of sandbox speed build videos where I design and build habitats and facility buildings.
Elm Hill City Zoo is my creation of typical older city zoo that is managed very well and has some of its parts renovated to suit the needs of animals and its guests. I am going to use some inspiration from the zoos I've been to as well as the photos and projects I collected on my Pinterest board.

Thank you Cesar! Both for the beautiful exhibit and for being one of the few KZreadrs not being all doom and gloom about the bats animations. I watched Koali Zoo yesterday as well and as much as I loved what they had built for the bats there negative attitude towards the looped animations as well as what this could, maybe, mean for birds in the future got me to thoroughly dislike their video. It is good to hear a voice of reason that calls it as it is. These are exhibit animals and Frontier never said they would be anything else than exhibit animals. Love them for what they are because they are beautiful and open op so many new avenues for the game to explore.

Thank you! Glad you liked the video! Yeah I stand behind what I said here. Those were ment to be the exhibit animals from the very beginning and I sometimes don’t get the high expectations for new things added to the game. I mean it is almost 3 years old and we sort of know how it works. I am loving the new walkthrough exhibit and I will stand by it!
Ahh this is so cool. I was expecting it the be some kind of loop animation and as you do put a lot of bats in there is looks pretty decent. 😍

These walkthroughs open up so many new opportunities for this game! I really hope we get some birds down the line for these, and I would love to see them update some of the older exhibit animals to be able to use these, like the iguanas for example

Amazed by how well the bats work in the game and how customizable the exhibits are! Just imagine what you might be able to do with macaws or eagles in such aviaries. 🤩 Love the indoor cave and the outdoor area too! Just one question, how is the bat house connected to the rest of the zoo? It looked like it's quite far away from all the other builds, so do you have any plans on putting other habitats in between, or even move the bat house closer to the rest of the zoo at some point?

I love this new feature and I can't wait to see how they will use it in the future - hoping for birds but also butterflies!! The bat house is located in the area that will be the African section in of our zoo. It is quite close to the Giraffes but I just didn't show it in the cinematic shots!

A freaking cool exhibit! Cesar you're as amazing as always. You are definitely the most creative as well as hard-working architect in the PZ community. I just can't wait to watch your other video building for other animal in the Twilight Pack. I'm also curious about where is this bat house located? Is it next to the peafowl and crane aviary? If the next DLC have been expected to be an Aviary Pack, will you spare a space for the birds?

This is amazing. As you have used a lot of pieces to decorate do the bats clip through this when they fly or did you just adjust things when you saw their flight paths?

Thank you!! I made sure not to concentrate too many pieces in the center of the exhibit because this is were they are flying the most. They would clip through the things that I would place on their flight paths

I love them! The model is so good! I also like the animations and the walkthrough exhibit overall!
Did you have any problems with the guests interacting with the habitat? Mine keep trying to walk though the grass to get right up next to the exhibit.

If they do that just simply add the guest barriers to block them from walking through anything you want. You can sink them into the ground and they will still work 👌🏻

I dont get why people are complaining about looped animation when Prehistoric Kingdom was praised for its aviaries (Which also had looped anims)
