Caoimhe's crush on Ireena is just so cute! And Aerthrandir's laugh is contagious. xD Oh my god, the dream sequence was amazing! 😱

It's weird to me that Metrion is so obviously flirting with Ismark but is very childish about sharing a bed with Aerthrandir. Hard to tell if he's just pulling a con on Ismark, or if he just really dislikes Aerthrandir. (Or both). Also I had a few moments of "how does Caoimhe know Metrion is looting the house? How does Aerthrandir know Lilissen is awake?"

what do you mean? Flirting with someone you're kinda into is very different from sharing a bed with a person you openly dislike. Why would these two situations be relevant to each other at all?

@@danaintern5349 I mean, you're not wrong, and I implied as much in my comment. I guess I judged the character as having a certain playful and open aspect to him that might use it as an opportunity for humor rather than the testiness he shows. But at the same time, with later episodes it's become abundantly clear that he's definitely not as playful as the mask he puts on. tl;dr; It's early in the series, so judging characters is hard. Please forgive me if my assumptions were inappropriate.

I was playing this campaign as a player but it's on pause due to scheduling problems, so listening to this is the only way to experience this beautiful story

Fun fact: the ravenloft wiki has the pie rules wrong... they called the trance sleep, and I had to break out my copy of CoS in order to check and later fix it...

Great session! Finally caught up! Excited for next week. I found death house a little hard to follow having never ran or played it but I’m loving seeing how rich you’ve made Barovia proper and the party dynamic is really fun! Quick question; I know peoples choice of class has been something of a slow reveal but for those of us slower on the uptake or more time poor, it would be great to have somewhere to find out details like that. Have a wiki or subreddit popped up? So far the only one I can be certain of is that Caiomhe is some kind of barbarian but I’m certain I’ve missed a lot of clues

What we know: Caoimhe: barbarian (she rages) Metrion: rogue (does sneak attack damage) Amity: bard (uses Vicious Mockery and bardic inspiration) Aerthrandir: bard (uses bardic inspiration) Lilissen: still not entirely sure, but judging by the cantrips and spells we've seen her cast (Mage Hand, Acid Splash, Message, maaaaybe Ray of Sickness?), either a wizard or sorcerer. (I'm thinking wizard, but that's just a hunch). Of course this is assuming none of them have multiclassed in the meantime.

@@LiseFracalossi Aerthrandir seems to have multiclassed in something that can cast fire bolt, I'm guessing sorcerer. EDIT: Actually it's probably just the wizard cantrip he knows as a high elf.

What are these images from, and what program are you using for this?

What would have happened if Amity stayed and tried to help the Bear?

Hey, i really enjoy listening to this, but for some reason episode 2 and 6 is blocked in my country(denmark). Any chance that could be looked into, since i feel like having to skip episodes in a this heavy narrative focused game realy detracts from the overall experiance?

We think this might be an issue with music copyright claims and the KZread-Koda negotiations. You can read more here: www.digitalmusicnews.com/2020/08/03/youtube-denmark-licensing-negotiations/ We will try disputing those claims since we do have permission to use the music from the original artist. It might take a while but hopefully, that will allow you to watch them again. Hang tight!

RAW, there’s a lot of that going on in this module. Most DMs change things as they see fit, if not just to make things interesting, at least to skip those things.

@Kayledon777 The stereotyping of Vishtani is what I recall reacting to. No shade at the DM, but negatively stereotyping an ethnic group in conversation is casual racism. Many barovians share that flaw rules as written.
