I want to echo Dirk's praise, Bastian. Good work on a deceptively challenging song! Dirk is my favorite drummer out there, and while I'm still grieving over his Soilwork exit, you can definitely fill the void. Let's hope Soilwork signs you on long-term so I can hear some completely original Bast-Blasts and Thusrolls!

This is amazing. Bastian was pretty much a toddler when Soilwork started and is now on a level to be their new drummer. All the best of luck in the future. Been in love with Soilwork for almost two decades now.

Thank you Nick! I always dreamed about playing in a band like Soilwork and I have to say the music and song writing always sounded perfect to me. I have always been a huge fan of Dirk too, but to be honest I was very surprised when I got the call.

There's been a recent trend of veteran metal bands (see: Soulfly and coincidentally Sepultura) hiring young drummers on a full time basis, let's hope Soilwork follow suit here.

Thank you Simon. Didn't use triggers for that recording. To be honest with you I have no clue about mics. I worked with Jonas Haagensen from the band Aphyxion on this video and he knows all the technical stuff. :-)
