Bassnectar - Bass Head (Official)
Ойын-сауық
Just in time for Spring comes Bassnectar's 'Timestretch EP ', a seven-track roller coaster ride through the amusement park of amorphous bass music.
The face-melting banger 'Bass Head laughs in the face of genres as it pounds you with bass. Watch-out! It's like dubstep at warp speed, or more of that crazy mutant half-time jungle with hyphy 808 bass and a mega-sticky hook.
Amorphous Music has teamed up with Basshead Music for the limited edition vinyl release of Bass Head, as well as the Bassnectar remix of Teleport Massive from his chart topping Cozza Frenzy album release.
Visit Music.Bassnectar.net to purchase the digital tracks in high-quality format, as well as exclusive bundles including CD's, T-shirts, collectors items, and vinyl pre-orders.
Subscribe to the Bassnectar Labs channel to be the 1st to receive notice of new exclusive music and video content from Bassnectar and Amorphous Music.

Long story short, I am from a small town in Tennessee and I went to see bassnectar on new years eve in Nashville. It was my first show of any sort of music. I had been mentally preparing myself for this and listen to everything I could by him to get a feel for what it would be like. I went into Bridgestone arena and thought I was ready for what was going to happen. G Jones and Tipper opened for him and they melted my face. It was hard to think Bassnectar could top them but dear god... He did. He melted my entire body and my soul. I don't dance or anything but his music forces you to dance. It forces your true self to come out and break away from how you have been raised and who you think you are. You are whoever you want to be when you see him. I would close my eyes and start coming up with weird things and I would do them and I would think to myself, I wonder if anyone is watching me and when you opened your eyes there was someone right infront of you doing something even more weird but it was so beautiful because that's exactly what they wanted to be doing and who they really were. After the show I went outside and it was sad to me to look at this world with people working at a job they hate wishing they could restart somewhere and get out of their life because they are not satisfied with their self. It really weighed heavy on me because I realized I was one of those people too, just waking up to work at a night shift job doing something I hated to get a check that just gets me by. I want to be someone that isn't in this melting pot of dough being spread on this pan and being cut out to what the world thinks is the " social norm". I am 19 years old and I'm going to have a baby tomorrow and I will raise him to understand that he has a mind of his own and he is a human being unlike anyone else in this world and where he wants to go and what he wants to be is his choice because I won't let him get cut into this cookie that will make him miserable. What I'm really trying to say is that I hope Lorin sees this and understands that he doesn't just make music. He changed my life and made me want to be a different person and made me want to be the person I want to be. Not who my parents want me to be or who my teachers or anyone wants me to be. I am my own self and if I want to fucking rage in my car to bassnectar and someone gives me a weird look then I don't give a shit because they are not who they want to be they are who the world wants them to be. They are too afraid to be different. My advice to anyone who actually reads all of this is too find a way to see bassnectar and listen to him when he says. Free your mind and let go. Let his music take control of you

You are a beautiful and unique individual. The experience you have described is exactly how I felt tripping on acid at his second weekend performance of Electric Forest, under "the mothership" as we called it😂 when he gets going, you weren't kidding, you get going. He levitates your soul out of your body into an astral realm of dance and the unknown. I found myself literally lost in the music when I closed my eyes, I couldn't help but to not? As I returned to Earth and opened my eyes, I couldn't believe where I was and the intensity of the situation that I was experiencing. It was literally history being made. I have a first-hand experience point of view writing in my self-published book called: The Human Complex. Not trying to self promote, or am I? But it speaks about exactly what you're saying man, you should check it out on Amazon.

I don't think a lot of people realize how insane it is to create something of this caliber... to create drum patterns in this high of quality, to create unique sounds that complement each other... and fit the with the melody... the automation, the effects, the mixing, mastering... the song layout... truly a masterpiece.

Hearing this 6 times live is AMAZING! You have to see Lorin live to get the full true effect of Bass Head! This is the first track I have heard from and since I first heard it have gone insane over him and his music! Getting to see him 6 times is a blessing plus met him twice and have kept in contact with him over the internet! I can truly say he has changed my life! :)
Still a solid track in 2019 🖤👽

that moment when you really need to go charge your phone but the beat is about to drop . 😭😭😭
I’m so happy to see this come back not that it was ever popular I was an outcast for it but now look at y’all all bassheads 🤘

Yeah, I know man! The 68 Charger is my favorite so far.
One of the coolest dubstep songs I have certainly heard in a long time! : -)
I'm an old school 90's kid ,we invented the bass drops that would rattle windows and put out sound ordinances. I've been looking for good bass songs for a long time and a friend turned me into dubstep music. This brings back good memories and made me build another killer system ,that I'm sure will earn me a ticket soon. Love this stuff.
I may not listen to dubstep nowhere near as much as i used to, but i still enjoy Bassnectars music.

I saw bassnecatar live 4 years before this came out and when i heard this song i thought "damn, i saw him too soon" sick ass show tho, i miss the rave scene. Best years of my life. Now im 34 and a dad so those days are over but i still think i got 1 more good rave left in the old tank..... im startin to get the itch.

This takes me back to almost 10 years ago! Working with plants at a nursery, ear phones in mixing fly guano with other nutrients and propagating mad plants while giving them some BASS VIBES!!! Haha I BEEN A BASSHEAD! Lol
First dubstep song I ever had downloaded in seventh grade. Good days

Still here. Still loving dubstep. Still got love for hard bass drop. Bring our music back. This is a dying art...
My 47 year old theologian father has been listening to this song since I was a little girl. This song is nostalgia 🤣

My buddy had 2, 12 inch subs in his truck. This was the first song he tried on his new system, I think his rear view mirror has never been put back on from the bass from this song, that was about 10 years ago. LOL, this song was nuts.
Shiiit I miss his shows... Saw him about 100 times after this came out.
This is a hidden gem from ancient times
So i put a potato in front of my speakers.. Not only did this song mash my potato, it provided heavy amounts of butter.
