Bassmaster Elite DRAMA (DQs & Rules Violations) + Kyle Patrick's Rookie Success

Спорт

The wheels fell off for several elites last week at Smith Lake. Bassmaster was handing out penalties & disqualification of catches for rules violations like Bass University hand out fishing tips. Trey McKinney probably took the biggest blow, after going from safely in the lead to behind fellow violation-recipient Justin Hamner in Angler of the Year points standings. On this episode of Bass University Live, we'll discuss this and other drama from the professional fishing tours, as well as welcome rookie gues Kyle Patrick, who recently provided a dropshot fishing class on Bass University, and has a living rubber jig class coming out tomorrow. Kyle had another top 10 at Smith Lake and is having a great season overall. Tune in for fishing fun and education on how to catch bass.

Listened to Kyle twice now very well spoken and focused on the “sport” instead of where it can take him big big deal 😇🤙

The rules meeting is a great idea because as of now who's to say the intent of the "violated". A good meeting with cut and dry interpretations would show the intent of the violator.

Instead of paying more marshalls, they could get technology to help them. My primary concern with getting more marshalls is that it will be difficult to find enough marshalls for EVERY event. To take the other side, every sport has more officials than BASS and BPT.

Lets get the spotlighting banned. Theres a lot of skills and knowledge you have to develop over the years in order to come in and win tournaments. Its all out the door. They are bombing through the lake with umpteen sonars for days than spotlighting fish and winning tournaments. Our sport is going up in flames.
