Yeah I saw that group also in Washington State and it was nails. Right on the money. Hadrien is really well known by some pretty big names in the jazz world. A couple weeks after I saw him I saw Mike Stern's band in Seattle and I was talking to him before the show and told I saw Hadrien a couple of weeks earlier and Mike was effusive in his praise and he's played with some top guys (Jaco, Lincoln Goines, Richard Bona, etc.) so I think he would know. Great interview and Hadrien currently is hooked up with some great players and playing a lot so he's doing well.

Thank you for this interview. I really appreciated his insights about so many topics, especially how players can get unfairly pigeonholed into one thing. I have a whole new appreciation for him!

I feel for Hadrien having to deal with these jazz "fans" enthusiasts, they are really annoying to deal with because they don`t really don`t understand the music they so much praise... The same dumb questions and praise for the most famous, well established musicians... it`s refreshing that he acknowledges the fact that people like him are the reason for what Hadrien is saying, that everybody cheers a soloist and everybody ignores a really good musician that does`n`t shred... overall, great interview for letting the man talk and speak his mind
