This is a goldmine of great pedagogy. Not dumbed down, but incredibly approachable. This video slaps....did I say that right? Is that what the kids say?

Brilliant lesson, again so much to take in. Part of me wants to suggest putting tab as well as standard notation, but that's because I'm lazy and these lessons are helping me break lazy habits (like tab!) so I have to read the stave and use my ears to check I'm getting it right.

Excellent lesson, thank you. Hope you can make one about trading fours technique.

At first glance I thought the thumbnail was a sign for the revolution to begin. It's fine though I'll just practice bass instead.

How important is it to transcribe a tune from beginning to end? I usually do 4/5 choruses and then move on.

Good question. I think doing the full version of something that really Moves you can be super rewarding. But, that said, I think that your way is excellent especially if you’re covering multiple pieces over time. If you’re really getting something and absorbing something from a few choruses that’s great! My “uptightness” often makes me feel incomplete if I don’t do a whole Tune
