The COVID-19 pandemic has meant that many healthcare professionals have been redeployed to work in unfamiliar environments, such as the intensive care unit (ICU). Mechanical ventilation is a key part of treatment in intensive care, and an unfamiliarity with it led to considerable concern among many health professionals. This module aims to provide a brief introduction to mechanical ventilation, outlining the basic principles and settings that are likely to be used.

Outstanding graphics, clearly articulated well done. Looking forward to exploring your other work.
Congratulations BMJ Learning, this topic is very important for today. The understanding of breathing mechanics is fundamental for the quality of life, knowing the accessory muscles contributes to a more efficient and conscious breathing!
Really helpful 😊
Mind blowing 👍👍👍
Outstanding 🥰👏
thank u i didnt feel like failing bio
Excellent presentation. I wonder is there different way called "better" way of breathing as Yoga always defines that Yoga's breathing is "correct" and "normal way of breathing is wrong"??? Clear explaination about "wrong or right" breathing is highly appreciated.

In through the nose, out through the mouth. The nose is responsible for cleaning and humidifying air through our respiratory system. The mouth is a secondary method of breathing better for exhaling.
