Filipino influences by malays(mean people of Sumatra, peninsular and Brunei), when i saw his shirt with Kampilan i knew he from Brunei, because Royal Bruneian Guard still used Kampilan and Kalasak shield, togther with Pemuras(old gun). only southern filipino bangsamoro used silat, jawi script, and the tanjak/tengkolok headdress the dress almost the same to 'baju melayu'

what i can get from this demo: 1. think 1 step ahead (know the probability of what kind of receiving attack) and how to counter. 2. silat is the type of MA which you always control the next step of enemy movement. 3. silat is an active feet movement (based on how enemy attack). 4. always focus our attacking hand to enemy body, while doing so counter them.

the goal of the UFC and SSBD are not the same and that is why if either one tried to compete in the others goal losses would happen. eg: ufc fighter tries to fight to the death with a silat master the win [most likely] goes to the silat master, however, if a silat master competed in the ufc he may not win the belt so easily. Unless you wish to train in martial arts, even if you aim at MMA, train in silat as a cross training style, if you just wish to train and live life [not do MMA] , train silat [but also train in other martial arts - know the potential of all foes]. No link available, just my actual life experience.
