    Excellent demonstration with the two best colours in any artist box. This includes any medium, including watercolour. This will really improve your tonal values. You can set a portrait up this way, then, at a later date, add colour if you want to. Thank you Yong Chen for your skill, knowledge and generosity.

    Wonderful video! Thank you for making that look so easy. When it gets dry can you add color glazes over it? Would that work? I have a hard time with values when I paint in color.

    Summary: Squint to see values. Can’t do this? Use an image editing software to posterize to reduce to 3 values.
