Mike shinoda was showing Chester the correct key to start the song off with.

Because he knows what Chester's range is and knew he started too high so if he continued on that, later in the song his voice would crack

What a lovely reaction, I'm sorry people have given you grief for not hearing of Linkin Park before your reactions. It's so easier for people to assume everybody has heard their favourite artist but there's artists out there with millions of views or plays that they haven't heard of. Chester was definitely an enigma, as a whole Linkin Park sounded better live than they did on their albums. Which is a testament and credit to them as artists and a band. 💙
You should listen to "crawling" (one more light live version) and "one more light", they're heart wrenching. Even if you don't film a reaction for them they are a must see. Also your fundraiser for this video is very generous

IMO this is by far the best male vocal cover of Rolling in the Deep that I've heard. God bless ya Chester you will forever be missed.
Miss him so much
Please do some more linkin park! "One more light" and "leave out all the rest" are my favorites

@@dylandigsdub Oh that breaks me every time. Mind you, so does the official video. The bit when he bows..... :-(
I love the beginning when Chester starts in the higher key and Mike is like whoa, whoa, whoa. But I believe Chester had the range to do it in the higher key, too. You should check out their song “Waiting for the End.” It’s my all-time favorite.
Linkin park-one more light definitely needs to go on the list
4:35 When you said you think something’s happening, it’s because this wasn’t planned prior. They didn’t practice it in advance, so they had to decide on the key and pace on the spot. He went too high the first time around and Mike had to confirm the key again.
Linkin Park is one of my favorite bands, and always has been. Losing Chester was such a sad time and I couldn’t listen to their music for a few weeks. I’m so glad you discovered them though, they are so so good and his music should be appreciated and remembered
Better than the original! Brilliant
@EllieroseReacts Don’t worry about the haters it’s impossible to make everyone happy but you can make you happy and keep doing videos you love and thank you for the reaction it was amazing keep it up R.I.P Chester Bennington 💔
This concert was for charity! So I love it so much that you made this video a fundraiser. ❤️ Chester would be proud.
He was genuinely one the best live performers of his generation, react to faint live 2007 his best vocals was in that performance
I've listening to LP since young. I was in final year of college when chester passed away. I cried my heart out when i heard the news. His songs still gives me goosebumps. #LP_forever
Chester was abused as a child. It shook him to his core. Mental health is very important and it doesn’t how successful you are in life. RIP Chester! Thanks for setting up the donation!
I've watched this before and I love it. It was pretty cool seeing someone watch it for the first time. I'm glad you liked it!

Thank you for being so awesome and doing this, Chester definitely was a selfless person and cared about his fans like his family. The whole band did. I think it’s beautiful that you’re giving the fans a chance to give back to him in a way he would have appreciated for a cause that’s affected us all in one way or another. If you really want to see a good video of him live, look up crawling with Chris Cornell. Chesters face when Chris walks on is one of the most pure reactions of affection you could ever witness. You could tell it was just those two on the stage to him and he was just having fun with his friend.
Another great one to check out is their song "Pushing me away" the live piano version, absolutely beautiful vocals from Chester on that one. It's often overlooked
Please react to more Linkin Park. They’re so diverse with their styles they have music that anyone can enjoy
When I saw him live, he performed all of his songs perfectly. It was my 1st and last Linkin Park concert. RIP Chester.
What I loved so much about LP was that fans loved to sing along during concerts. Like it just made everything so much better.
Bullet by Hollywood undead. It's a perfect representation of mental health in song form.
You are literally a Sweet heart, also for raising the donations thank you, stay the way you are ! Thumbs up
Very sorry people were being mean to you about you not having heard of Linkin Park before, new listeners are always welcome to join the family! Glad you're enjoying their music thus far and thank you so much for talking about Chester and mental health in this video and putting up the charity link! :) That being said: R.I.P. Chester! You'll always be remembered!
Do Mike shinoda at reading festival doing in the end if you didn’t know Mike is the other singer in LP, that was done after chesters death, was an amazing gig but that song hit different
Thank you for this. What a beautiful gesture!
Thank you so much for sharing this, dear. ♡ Amazing!
i'd like to see you react to one more light, since Chester past that song just hits so different now its so hard to listen to it and not tear up for me at least
Chester is so loved!
I loved ur reactions, u'r so natural, keep it up, please react to more of them, greetings from 🇧🇷💘
Thank you for doing this.
saw them live in 2010 in hamburg and it probably was and is to this day the single best thing i ever experienced.
You should check out LP song Given up
This is really considerate of you. One of my fave performances of Chester in terms of raw beautiful vocals. And this was a pop ballad. Chester was an incredibly versatile vocalist. Please react to his live performance of one more light(chris cornell tribute), the little things give you away live in milton keynes, and the messenger live.
Chester sounded as great live as he did on the albums! Not many people you can say that about!
nice reaction :) you also could check out a performance of their song Crawling (with special guest Chris Cornell) who also passed away in 2017 and has been one of Chesters best friends.

One of THE best performances to witness, his reaction to Chris coming on stage and the fun they had doing that together was as genuine as it gets.
Chester had the voice of an Angel and the scream of a demon. He could sing any song he wanted to. There is a video of him singing along to Michael Jackson song. Chester, Mike, and one other person were in the studio messing around and decided to do a live stream and a Michael Jackson song came on the radio and Chester singing to it. Chester was a very kind person. He really cared about all of his fans.
Another thing to consider this was closing the show,so 2nd or 3rd encore, the very best voice of his generation.
R I P. Chester. Its today (20 July ) 1 year since my mom past away. Very sad day.
I grew up with linkin park. In my opinion chester was the greatest male vocalists of all time. RIP Chester- my hero.
Looking forward to more Linkin Park reactions... it's a great journey. Enjoy it and thank you!
Such a beautiful voice...
Your intro was amazing and thank you for tribute to mental health ❤️
One of the greatest singer vocalists that ever lived... sings like an angel screams like a demon
Hey Ellie, I'm sort of new here as a subscriber, I have watched quite a few of your videos before though, love your work and keep it up, you deserve so many more followers than you currently have and I'll be joining you on your journey 👍🏻
More LP please. Chester was a rare talent, you won't ever be disappointed. Keep it up. 😁🤘
I listen to mostly heavier stuff, but linkin park's lyrics drew me in right away, my fiance hates my music, but looks it up acoustic so she can try to see where im coming from.... So yes, not everyone on the planet has heard every song.. And thats the beauty of music, theres so soooo much beautiful out there, in every facet of it!!!!
From experience... You can't please everyone, we all get the negative comments, just brush them off and carry on, that's the best way to deal with negativity 😁🤘
RIP Chester ❤️ best voice ever. Solemnly missed by millions

The last album was so mediocre in comparison with it's entire discography..
Many singers dream of being able to master one style of singing and may be lucky enough to be proficient in a second style. Chester was a master of 3 different styles and he helped so many people discover different music because he would entice different music lovers to his voice. He’s another Angel who this world is sadly to cruel to deserve.
Donating to mental health is a great tribute to Chester. Well done.
A voice of an angel ❤
you made it right, for Chester....thank you
Voice of an angel rip Chester your missed!!
320 change direction was a charity his widow set up and the bands tribute show went to.
Rock in paradise Chester
Chester helped alot of people getting through times of suicidle thoughts...me included, still having a hard time thinking about his end 4 years after but I try to keep strong for my family and friends everyone struggeling with psych probelms seek help even talking to a family member can help alot, I know its hard but sharing is the first step
Donating any potential revenue from the video to MH charities is an incredibly classy move, big up to you 👏🏻👏🏻❤️
Respect to you for this video and wanting to donate the funds. You rock, KZread haters can go cry all they want lol
Love your reactions! Definitely check out more Linkin Park. They were the band that first got me into rock and metal. Every song is different and meaningful. Watch their live performance of One More Light. It was the day Chester's close friend Chris Cornell died, also from suicide. Today is Chris Cornell's birthday too, which I think played a big part in Chester's death.
Good call on donating. Linkin Park started their own charity, The One More Light foundation, you should donate to them...Jeannie in Lakeport California
RIP Chester wish you were still here 💔🙏😢
♥️thank u

Please react to the Songs from the inside, Castle of Glass, crawling and one more light. In My opinion, they belong to the best songs from linkin Park
RIP Chester, the struggle and pain are over...damn I miss him....
I miss Linkin Park too
Don’t let the bad comments get to you it will happen the more you grow and I think this is the best over of this song overall he just has the rasp that Adele does
I'm a masiive Linkin Park fan. I was in university when Chester passed. I cried for several days. I now have a tattoo on the back of my right hand of Linkin Park's logo after Chester's dath
Love the song! Love the band! What else needs to be said? Oh yeah, miss you Chester!
Good on you for donating the money from this video to a mental health cherity, just because of this I'm subscribing, I wrestle with mental health issues
Linkin park was and is the best band in thé world ! Thank you for your reaction from France 😁
There are no words for what happened that night…. It’s to Astonishing
I was born in 2001, but I grew up listening to linkin park I would always listen to them. Chester Bennington has a voice like no other and the way mike shinoda makes those beats oooof like
Could you please react to Given Up. Chester was literally screaming out for help in every song but nobody took it seriously until it was to late. Watching his videos now are heartbreaking and haunting. RIP Chester your music helped save my life I wish I could have helped save yours. 💔🥺...Just a thought maybe you could put the numbers for the suicide holiness and maybe mental heath help line in the description. You never know it could help someone get the help they need.
Rest in Power Chester!
omg chester.
i think you should listen to mike shinoda (the other singer) "over and over again" its a song written after Chester's death on the post traumatic album
I respect that

I miss Chester.
Do "Iridescent (Live)", from the same show. Pls, beautiful song. (Chester is playing the guitar on this one)
An amazing voice, popularity and money doesn't make a person. Depression and anxiety doesn't matter your fame, your wealth, whatever it can happen to anyone. Happened to me
Hey, idk if it's too late now (really not sure how these youtube donations work) but if you're still looking for a charity to donate to, here are some things that directly relate to Chester, so I thought it would be appropriate: -after his death, his wife Talinda partnered with an organization called Change Direction, and together they started 320 Changes Direction (320= March 20th, Chester's birthday). This organization's purpose is to help those dealing with a mental illness and their loved ones, as well as making access to mental health resources easier. -Linkin Park have a charity called Music For Relief. This organization is mainly for environmental causes like stopping global warming and pollution and helping with relief following natural disasters, but following Chester's death they added another branch to it called the One More Light Fund. This fund gives money to Power The World (Chester's favourite Music For Relief cause) as well as to different mental health advocacy organizations. Idk if either one of those takes donations, but they're worth looking into (either for donations, or just in general, there's some information on there that everyone should know).
Theres an even better version they’ve done here on KZread. I believe they were doing a special meet and greet with the LPU their fan club but it was just him and Mike with an acoustic guitar and it sounds so frieken good!!!
Please watch Linkin Park with Chris Cornell live - crawling. SO good. Just like this, gives me goose-bumps every time.
You realy should to see - Given up (Live in Clarkston)
Ellierose Reacts. You chose a good song to react to. I think it's the only time Linkin Park ever did this cover. Linkin Park also does Sabatage by Bestie Boys at the end of Bleed It Out at some shows. Btw, you're beautiful 😁
I seldom comment because I am a very bitter person, but thank you, for not succumbing to easy money and instead sending the money made off this video to charity, because that takes a lot of strength in my opinion. In some weird way I think this is a beautiful way to celebrate Chester's life and career, while also helping those in need. Thank you, I really mean it.
LO is AMAZING in live shows. make sure to check out at least a few of them. some of them even sound better than the studio versions.
