I recently got a WPG. I'm not a hunter, don't come from a family of hunters, but I've taken to doing all sorts of hunting training with my pup after learning about the breed. I feel it's the best possible thing I can do for my dog! thanks for this video, very helpful for an amateur just trying to make his dog happy!

Hello. My dog does not point the bird but flushes the bird like a spaniel out of range. Please give some tips to make her point the bird and be in range, using e collar. Thanks.

No pointing dog should be held by an “active owner”. These are hunting dogs. They have to work to be happy. And going for a walk (even when the walk is three hours long) is not working. They have to train, to use their nose, to hunt and to point to have the feeling they live a fulfilled, successful live. Hard to understand when you have never seen the satisfaction in the face of your hunting dog after he brought you the bird you just shot.
