Letters are the best thing for basic trainees

Sent some letters to my sailor, i just imagine her smiling at mail call now, after hearing you explain how it works. She has 7 weeks left and i cant wait!

My son didn't give me a address of his Ship n Division for 2 weeks so I wasn't able to write him until then I was so worried about how he was doing, it turned out he was horribly home sick but we talked for 30 minutes on phone so he felt better after our conversation I do believe. I love sandboxx I used it today sent a picture of his pet cat I felt so good doing it, he graduates August 9th 2019 from boot camp

@@dulcepolivka8266 hey they don't get an address for two weeks and he should be sending a letter to his parent with his platoon number if that's how it works in the navy that's how it works for the marines but they don't have a address for two weeks thats why you haven't heard from him. once the parents give you the address you can send the letters and it will take 5 days to get there and around 5 to get back but that's from new york to parris island but send one everyday. then you'll start getting one everyday so its nice and get sandbox once you get his address those ship overnight. i hope this works.i can send you the sandbox info if you want. they're 4 $ each letter but its so worth it

Update: I received his letters after two weeks and I have been sending letters daily but snail mail lol I sent two letters through Sandboxx and say that they have been delivered but I don't know if he has had a chance to recieve them (if you know what I mean). His navel base is Great Lakes here in Chicago and funny story is that I live in Chicago and so does he lol. I don't know how snail mail works in his case but I have notice that I recieve letters from the week before.

Dulce De La Torre the app should say that it was delivered and signed by one of the higher class people like the Sargent you’ll know he got it when you get a Sandboxx letter home

I just heard that the app puts your soldier/ sailors information out there. Is that true. I like the app but I’m a little worried.

Hey so I have a question my husband is at basic training right now And I defiantly want to send mail to him through this app SandBox but I’m just curious on how it works on the other end I understand it’s electronically but what does fedex or the post office do once they receive it like do they print it out for it to be in paper form then do their part and mail it out in an envelope for the soldier to receive and read off a paper or how does that work exactly because this is what I have in mind ?

I’m having the same issue with my son , we have all sent him letters and he has not received any of ours except the ones from his girlfriend ? I was wondering if anyone has had this same issue with their child or loved one? We have sent over 6 letters each and still nothing ?

kassandra Hernandez you can ask on Sandboxx if you have the right address. There’s an option on there to ask the community or something like that.

First of all thank you for your service and the upload. One piece of advice to consider though. I stopped watching at the 3:00 mark because you said the word "like" 30 times. That's an average of every six seconds but what I noticed was you didn't say it at all in your into which means that was scripted so you weren't as nervous. Just one person's opinion so take it for what it's worth.

Yes but you have to pay $4 to send a letter you pay for tokens and with tokens you use those for letters
