GORGEOUS. I'm assuming the powders used to cover the entire surface of the front were transparent, right? I'm doing my homework online before I dive in.

Hello , your work is beautiful ! I'm interested in DIY vitreous enameling for a more pragmatic project and I'm wondering if it's something I can realistically do ? My immediate concern isn't for beauty but for corrosion resistance . I like to make cooking stoves that burn wood . I make them out of throw away steel can s (coffee cans , Baked Bean cans , etc. I made a really big one using a steel garbage can. The intense heat eventually corrodes the steel, reducing the useful life of the stoves . Do you think I might be able to apply vitreous enamel to the hot areas of these steel cans, prior to assembly ?
