Nice thanks. My eldest sister worked in a nursing home for a while, and she is no bigger than Heidi. She had to learn "tricks" to move people that were sometimes more than twice her size. A big shout out to those who work with the elderly, or nursing in general. Thanks Heidi even if you are not doing it currently, and thanks to you and Katya for the video. Kiitos

No offense to Heidi but she is highlighting how Kat is good at teaching 😸 (truly no offense meant as I'm more awkward appearing than Heidi and can't see myself in teaching or doing youtube). ETA: Thank you for taking the time to make this video.

This points out an odd phenomenon that sometimes happens to foreign language learners. You can study some kind of specialized vocabulary, and then you know what some things are called in your target language, but you don't know what they're called in your native language. I had that experience here. I know what everything Heidi is talking about is, but I realized I don't know what all of it is called in English. For example, I've never heard the term "diaper pants" before. The only name I can think of is "Depends," which is a brand name. I don't know of a generic name.

vanhain = vanhojen It is an alternative form of the plural genitive that fell out of common use, but exists in some special cases.

Had to do a bit of translation into proper English while watching. We don't call them diapers in the UK. The British English word is nappy. I'm not sure what they'd call them in the UK. Nappy pants possibly, or maybe just an adult nappy. Tena is a well known brand over here as they advertise on TV. With the current pay and working conditions disputes in the UK some of our medical professionals might think of applying for a job in Finland, so what are the pay and working conditions like in Finland?

4:29 Isn't pyörä means round ? 6:17 so apuväline like First aid?

Pyörä means wheel. The word you're looking for is pyöreä, which means round. Apuväline is something that's used as a helping tool, or in other words - an aid.
