Love this tutorial, thank you for making it so easy to understand, showing your work up close and going slow! I made an Ipad sleeve and it firs perfectly, but my stitches don't line up straight. There's a slight slant. Could I perhaps have added a stitch on one side? I'm terrible at counting stitches so I can't tell, but I can't think of anything else that could caused this. The two sides still line up fine and it's not "that" noticeable, but I'd like to make future sleeves without this happening since they will be gifts. Any help would be appreciated!

My sleeve ends up lopsided no matter what I do. It looks like I'm crocheting one extra, and it's spreads into a cone-shape. But when I skip a stitch to avoid it the sleeve gets too small. And I swear I'm following the stitch exactly (pausing the screen to make sure.) What am I doing wrong?

  • @jdquinitchette

Hi super important questions. Where do you edit your videos from and are you using a video camera or a laptop for your videos? You see I have a channel on youtube that I do my show on but I do them on my laptop but they don't exactly have what you would call the best quality screen look, like yours. I would be very grateful if you answered my questions and I love your tutorials, they inspire me to crochet even more. Thankyou.

  • @SimplyHookedCrochet

I am SO sorry for the late response. I edit my videos on my laptop. I use a Canon T3i to film and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit. I'd say top things you need are: Camera, editing platform, tripod (super important) and daylight (which will improve the overall quality of your videos). Hope this helps and good luck!
