Thank you, doctor. Great job but when will we be getting a more advanced video? I've watched many videos but they don't go in depth and don't mention less-known structures such as canalis sinuosus, so it'd be really useful if you could make another videos explaining more structures and landmarks. Thanks again.

Dear Dr. Essa, Thank you very much! Give me some time to prepare a video on advanced CBCT anatomy. Currently, I am teaching a radiographic interpretation course. Therefore, my next few videos will be on cysts, benign tumors, malignant tumors, etc. Maybe I can make a short video on less common neurovascular canals of the jaws, including canalis sinuosus, retromolar canal, variations of mental foramen/foramina, and lingual foramina. These neurovascular landmarks are important for implant therapy. I will also share a recent CBCT scan where a patient had continuous on/off pain for 2 years after an endodontic material extended into canalis sinuosus.
Thank you so much prof mansour

@@mansurahmad1952 does this scan take an image of the hard palate?
@mansurahmad1952

@@icequeen9417 Yes, a CBCT scan of the maxilla may also record the hard palate.
Thank you so much! I learned a lot from you! May i ask if the “Ethmoid air cells” the same as “ethmoid sinus”?
@mansurahmad1952
2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it is the same. Ethmoid sinus has many compartments, and some times called as air cells. Many structures have different names. It is a good idea to learn all the names. Thank you for spending time on these videos.
Great video Doc! How may one contact you? I'm studying and in need of a CBCT scan of high quality but can't get hold of any.
Amazing 😻
