Beautiful simple and no doubt highly effective...would work well at Carsington Do you have a tying for the grey boy that comes out at Loch Leven. Tight lines Simon Artley Manchester

Newbie question Dave, You mentioned that you prefer using varnish to finish instead of resin. What's the difference to the finished fly? In my early days of tying, I've always assumed they were just variants of the same process with the same outcome?

i JUST PREFER A COUPLE OF COATS OF VARNISH FEELS YOU GET A WAY BETTER FINISH THAT RESIN AND A UV TORCH TO BE HONEST. BEST REGARDS DAVE
