Loved experiencing alestorm at download. The front rows of us were “rowing” a boat. So many people were dressed up as pirates. For seeing this as my first festival I’m definitely go to more now.

This was almost a Sabaton level history lesson (and almost a Sabaton calibre MV as well). Really pleased you’re getting this band on an episode of the podcast, I’m looking forward to seeing that.

This album so far is seriously peak Alestorm. They have everything in it, and it all sounds amazing. I'm so stoked for this album.

Just saw them live 2 weeks ago. They were absolutely amazing. So so much fun. Everyone singing along. Even my friend "uhh i only know 1 song of them" was singing along every song. It was the best time i had in years.

Saw them at Sweden rock on the 9th of June. Helluva show! And Chris got a new rubberduck from a girl in the crowd, ive never seen a pirate so happy before

Christeper bows plays keyboard for Gloryhammer and has a standalone album called Chris Bows and his plate of beans.

They smashed it at Copenhell festival in denmark 2 weeks ago! They set the festival record of 700 crowd surfers in 2018. But they beat the record with 1700 crowdsurfers, IN ONE HOUR!

The Indiana Jones esque swinging sword and then shooting him cracks me up every time

Saw them live at Graspop last year it was such an experience, partied our asses off

i saw them in Switzerland at the Greenfield Festival 3 weeks ago it was so funny

Album title is an Iron Maiden reference/tribute to their 1988 album "seventh son of a seventh son" which in turn was inspired by the novel "Seventh Son" released a year prior by Orson Card

Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum video was just released. I have never laughed so hard after turning on the subtitles. And there is an homage to the Up The Irons pirates. This band has some Black Flag and Suicidal Tendencies sounds to them. 🤘

Oh man, I'd never even KNOWN there was that "you are fucked" text in the video; I watch all videos at the lowest possible resolution (I've computer issues, and doing that makes stuff less likely to freeze on me) so I don't think it was even physically POSSIBLE for me to have seen it unless I was actively looking.

@@TankTheTech swearing only seems to be a problem for most KZreadrs during the first minute. There’s quite a lot of groups that record together and their videos will be censored for the first minute only.
