Basenji in the River (Can You Believe It?!)
If you know basenjis, you know that - much like cats - they don’t love to get wet. Surprisingly, though, Dabi & Prisca decided that it was so much fun to wade around in the river, that is just several hundred feet down from our neighborhood. We’ll have to do this more often. (…like on a day that Dave & I haven’t just barely recovered from Covid-19. This was exhausting! It’s been less than 2 weeks since I brought the bug 🦠 home to us.)

No, we don’t raise puppies, and I’m sorry… I don’t know anyone in Colorado who does. If you go to the AKC website, though, I think you can find breeders for any breed. Dabi came from a show breeder in Gettysburg, PA and Prisca came from a breeder near New York City. 😊
Those aren’t real basenjis. Basenjis hate water.
