    There are things that you are right in but the base runner has to know how to read that pitcher and if they have a good move or not. Because you see I pitched in highschool and in my youth years as well and in most videos I commented that I played for coaches that played pro or college. But they also need to know how to read left handers as well and I'm sure you covered it but it depends on how fast your runners are. I was never on base all that much because I pitched most of the time and so I never understood secondary leads. But what our coach taught us was to get a lead and when the pitcher delivers the ball to shuffle your feet towards second unless there was a steal or hit and run on
