Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) in Basara, Nirmal District, Telangana, has released the notification for admissions to the six-year integrated B.Tech course for the academic year 2024-25. The announcement was made by RGUKT Vice-Chancellor, Professor V. Venkatramana, on May 27.
Application Process:
This year, the application process is linked with the SSC board server. As a result, when students enter their hall ticket number and name, their details will automatically appear.
The seats in various branches of B.Tech will be filled based on the marks obtained by students in their Intermediate exams.
Fees:
The first-year fee is Rs. 37,000. However, those eligible for reimbursement do not need to pay this fee.
Additionally, there is a registration fee of Rs. 1000, a caution deposit of Rs. 2000, and Rs. 700 for health insurance, totaling Rs. 3,700.
Application Timeline:
The application process will start on June 1 and will be accepted online until 5 PM on June 22.
Special category students (PH, NCC, sports, etc.) can apply until June 29.
Selection List:
The list of selected students will be announced on July 3.
Document verification for students will take place from July 8 to July 10.
The application fee is Rs. 500 for OC and OBC students, and Rs. 450 for SC and ST students.
Seat Allocation:
A total of 1650 seats for the integrated B.Tech (Inter+B.Tech) course will be filled.
The university has 1500 seats, with an additional 10% (150 seats) allocated under the EWS quota.
85% of the seats are reserved for students from the state.
The remaining 15% of seats are open to students from both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
5% of seats are supernumerary, reserved for children of Indians working in Gulf countries.
Eligibility:
Candidates who have passed the 10th grade are eligible to apply online.
Selection Process:
Students from government schools will have 0.40 points added to their 10th grade score.
In case of a tie, seven criteria will be considered: grades in Mathematics, Science, English, Social Studies, and the first language.
If still tied, the older student will be given preference. If there's still a tie, the hall ticket random number method will be used.
Admission Schedule:
Application submission: June 1 to June 26, until 5 PM.
Seat allocation: July 3, 2024.
Document verification: July 8 to July 10.
