God I'm so happy someone uploaded this I've seen the whole interview several times before obviously not on you tube .This is more like an excerpt of the whole. Nevertheless many thanks to whom ever put this much of it up. Ofcourse I would love to see the clip again in its entirety. But yet and still I'm happy seeing these bits of it.

The ballerinas are such a bore when he's on stage. It's distracting because ALL eyes are on him.

Are you sure it's the same work? Petit used to work only with French dancers, preferably of his own company. This was the exception.

@@arepo absolutely sure l saw .but not a so great exception petit worked with other dancers out from his company for exemple italian la scala principal dancer MASSIMO MURRU was among his favourite and gave him many roles coaching directly him .here on yt there are some videos about MURRU in petit's roles

@@arepo BTW about schauffus l am sure because l saw with my eyes but l think that also patrick dupond danced it l belive l remeber having seen a review on some ballet magazine long ago but not sure 100% -

@@pediatrapaola Yes, Petit worked with other dancers too in the last decades of his career, but that was after his own company disbanded. In the late 1970's/early 1980's he still had it. The Queen of Spades was short lived. But if you say you have seen Schaufuss in it I believe you. Patrick Dupond is also likely, but he was French, I believe both Petit and Bejart gave him roles from time to time.
