Barter is Better | Dr. Suvinay Damle | TEDxPICT
Dr Damle gives us a powerful insight into his profession and the unique way in which he has used the barter system.
He is an Ayurvedic doctor who runs a clinic in a village Kudal, near Sindhudurg which functions on the barter system model for the patients who can't afford to pay in cash. He has received in exchange for his treatment things starting right from brooms, to utensils to sacks of rice/wheat in return and not to forget a countless number of blessings.
After experiencing the barter system and having seen its effects on the people of today, Dr. Damle can tell us about how it can still affect the economy in general.

Damle saheb looking at your programme for consultation I had tried so many times to your Kudal number but very bad response. People talk very arogantly. Unable to get number . It’s overall bad experience.

People don't get misguided, he saying barter is better, but what he actually do is he charge that money from other patient, to balance out. Also his treatment don't work. You will keep going to his clinic atleast 6 times each time charging 3000 to 4000 Rs. He is good upto his KZread videos only.And his WhatsApp group is also filled with same kind of people, not having any medical background but still suggesting medical remedies.
