    In the 10 6 suited hand Bart really needs to be over betting turn and jamming river imo. Seems like such a classic capped vs uncapped match up and he should be repping his polarized range to the max to put hands all the way up to something like K9s in a bad spot where they are pure bluff catchers and probably just have to fold

    I don't understand Andy's all in I'd much prefer a call. Bart isn't gonna barrell KJ or something like that on the turn or river often enough for you to push him off of that hand specifically. Other than that you're asking him to fold ace queen or something which just isn't gonna work a lot. 9 is a great bluff catcher there even though the jack blocks some weird bluffs. Andy should've just called imo but great hand either way.

    This lineup is great. Andy GOAT of LATB. Bart played well except trying to triple barrel Andy with these stacks knowing Andy can rebluff with better and prob not folding a K or A. What is Andy repping by shoving that river tho? Basically only 34hh, because Bart is uncapped, Andy should not have many sets or 2p which usually raise the turn. (Maybe not this deep though...) Kinda crazy "only Andy does this shit" line tbh ...

  • @1neomonkey

    @1neomonkey

    6 жыл бұрын

    My thoughts exactly. Andy's not repping anything, and only beats a bluff. Whereas with Bart as the preflop 3 bettor, that flop hits his range more than it does Andy's and could easily have AQ, AK, KK, AA. In my opinion even if Andy's trying to rep 34, there's no way he'd get to the river the way this hand played out. I think Andy is extremely lucky Bart was on a bluff.

    just goes to show poker is such a hard game to make any kind of profit off of. You ain't going no where in that FH vs Quads hand. He played well but he is really aggressive. Poker's weird. one minute your on top of the world and the next. Your down in the dumps. That's why i say work a normal 9-5 and be happy

    If you're happy with the 9-5 that's cool. Poker is a lot like being self employed, you can make good money, but you also have to take the losses when a job or 2 go south for one reason or another. Live poker is much better than online from my perspective , others may disagree, but I tend to run bad online for some reason but I make money in the live games.

    Yeah if you're playing a purely luck-based game, leave when you win. There is skill in poker. If you recognize leaks in other people's gameplay and you have an edge, you stay. However if bad luck in the short term causes you to tilt and play worse, then you should take a break. Table selection is key in poker. Your comment is something my Grandma would say because she thinks every player is at the same skill level and it's just pure luck. It's quite an amateurish thing to say.
