When he handed the trophy to the kid and said “don’t hurt yourself”, I completely wrote him off. Seeing his disappointment when Dave didn’t give it a huge score, and didn’t like his little dough things made it better.

One Great story. The obsession (I use that word in the most positive regard) with their craft between these pizza guys is insane! I have the pleasure of knowing Carmines friend Joe Carlucci of Valentina’s pizzeria in the Rocket City USA. Huntsville AL and I can relate. He tells me stories all the time. And I’ve seen the recipes these guys have. It’s unreal the lengths they go through to keep improving each and every single batch!!!

Actually I think it's the opposite. That pizza looks like a 7.1 all day. But he was in Dave's face the entire time talking about his kids, his trophy and covid the score was bumped up.

Literally 8mins walking distance from my house...born and raised in NJ and ate at many different pizza spots in my life in both NY and NJ and Jersey boys is def one of the best

Dave helping out the little guys is always great. Even if this little guy has won major pizza awards and had his kids on Fallon lol!

Not sure why he is harassing Dave, if you follow his videos he doesn't like to be followed, harassed and forced into listening to the owner try to sway his decision. Probably the worst harassment I have seen yet. Still got a good score though, pizza looked good.
