I don't think anybody can even guess at how many children were conceived by two people loving each other to this mans music. The Maestro did really have so much to give. And many of us will always be grateful. May he continue to rest in piece.

This song has just come back into my life this pass week after not hearing it in some time. I've just reunited with a love from the pass that I haven't seem in 40 yrs. We were in love as teenager and forbidden to see each other because I was 15 and he was 17. We both moved away from the town we lived in , life went on and we lost touch. Now here it is 40 yrs. later and we have captured these feelings once more. OMG!!!!! Its wonderful. Now I finally understand the true meaning of a soulmate. I'm so happy. We're so happy cause we found something so many people never find, the true meaning of DESTINY!!!!!!!!! We've made this OUR SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A true love story indeed. Thanks BARRY WHITE...............

In about 1973 and 1974 there was not a more popular singer around. This dude had 7 Gold Records in one year in either 73 or 74. His approach was unique. Big voice singing chilling out soul music with a big band backing him. It was the music to me that defines the early 1070s.

Memories of being a kid sitting in the back seat of my dads caddy. It is great. youth nowdays well, I feel sorry for them. It is to their benefit to take a trip back in time when things had substance, involved skill. and when the person involved was the key to it all and not a machine. We need to get back in touch with real music and do away with a lot of the trash that we have as music today.

The strings take the song to another level... the steadiness of the hi-hat, lead and rhythm guitars, bass guitar and strings cross-rhythms is just incredible. There comes the MASTER with his big voice... astounding👌🏿

It was Ruidoso , New Mexico . A beautiful moonlit night , where the air was crisp, clean, cold and Sierra Blanca mountain in the foreground filled the view , illuminated and white. It was a night of lovemaking with Pat who I had met earlier at my college and was now visiting. A young 20 year old from the East Coast , who had escaped to the SouthWest . Pat...,She loved Barry;s music... and that's what played all thru the night. To this day , I still cannot hear Barry White and not think of her, that beautiful night, or Sierra Blanca mountain's majesty. 65 years old is soon to come and still this man's music and that night remain forever a part of me. I cannot forget. God rest you Barry... and for all of you out there whose music you enjoyed.., may the memories be sweet as mine are.

I loved Barry White music & still do. I spent most of my life in "Washington D.C. This song like a lot more of his songs reminds me of the love of my life"Wayne Ross"."Love Ballards" I love his music regardless. I remember the couple of weeks before he died he was @ his daughter 's celebrating her birthday. I believe she was pregnant @ the time. on this particular day there was a discussion about his health. HBP, Diabetes, etc. ..ect....a few weeks later.he was gone! I was shocked, also I cried. couldn't believe it & didn't want it to be true.(RIP.)Barry White "
