Daniel Bernhardt, who played Ronnie is a legit martial arts master & veteran stunt performer. He´s a member of the 87Eleven Action Team, the top tier stunt team in Hollywood. These guys have worked on The Matrix trilogy, 300, V for Vendetta, Watchmen, created the John Wick franchise, Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde, Nobody, Bullet Train, you name it. Bernhardt has also trained Keanu Reeves, Charlize Theron & Bob Odenkirk for action movies.

Closing and grappling is a good tactic when dealing with someone who can kick like Ronnie can.

I don't know if this will get buried under comments but this feels like something the Coen Brothers would produce. The straightforward camera work, the gallows humour, the sudden and unexpected deaths of characters, the way that things spiral out of control organically. This show is awesome for more than the few reasons I mentioned but if someone showed this to me with no context telling me that it was a small clip from a feature film, I'd guess the Coens almost immediately. Hell, even the way it's lit and color graded makes me think of their more recent work. Fucking top notch stuff this is.

I’ve see execution videos that were funnier than B99. That stuff is either designed for the brain damaged or designed to cause brain damage.

One of the best episodes of any show I’ve seen in ages. Hands down. The comedy action writing obscurity took this to a whole different level. Everyone in this episode deserved an award.

Barry and Fuches are literally parallels to Jesse Pinkman and Walter White, except Barry is more capable than Jesse but Fuches is just as diabolical as Walter White, but not as capable. The dynamic is just so brilliant.

There are some subtle nods to breaking bad in the show, like when the Chechnians use a bike lock to lock Fuches neck in the garage

To think Fuches is perfectly content with Barry killing a child, but he can’t do it himself. The man is a true coward and I hope he gets what he deserves in season 3.

just want to point out he contrast of when Barry thinks he's literally bleeding to death and is trying to get Fuches to hustle into the store for medical supplies but he's taking his sweet old time vs when Fuches has a much less severe problem and he's extremely furious with Barry for not going into the store fast enough at 0:06. top notch characterization.

This part was hilarious coz he kept missing and he killed the cop with one kick

Even if they didn't actually see the kick (which they probably did given the timing), the situation just before they fire is that two men are on the ground - one, a cop who previously shouted at someone to drop their weapon, clearly unconscious at the very least and the other looking bloody and cowering - with a third man standing tall in an attack stance. Even though I personally don't think they should automatically shoot to kill in that situation if it occurred in real life, it's not exactly a difficult leap for them to come to the conclusion that the guy standing up is dangerous and is also the man the cop was telling to surrender a weapon.

This whole episode feels like a combination of Raising Arizona and Dumb & Dumber. It's so out of place with the rest of the show yet feels so related. One of the best tv episodes of all time, no doubt.

I like how the plot in the show is ridiculously unrealistic but whenever you see action its the opposite its very very grounded idk makes the show funnier to me.

Easily the best episode in the show. It's just so funny & memorable

Might be one of the greatest episodes of any television show in history. You can’t watch it without being absolutely glued to the screen until the very end.

I don't know if I've ever laughed so hard as when I saw this part of the episode.

Ha ha ha can’t believe Barry thought he would still take the Chicago offer after crushing his windpipe.

This episode really is a microcosm of his whole "if I'm just nice and apologize then I'm sure everyone can move past my past and everything will be fine" delusion.

"WHAT ARE YOU!!!" bruh this episode had me dead 🤣

Man I remember back in the 90s, the guy who plays Ronnie was who you got when Jean Claude Vandamme wasn't available for your movie.
