It can be Armagedon, but as we enter the Nora Arc, we learnacing that Zoom, Red Death and the other guy are the cruelest vilains so far. If Flash didn't win againgst Zoom, Zoom would be the most cruel of all. History made him the second, wile the other guy comes 3rd. We are left with Reverse, who was hurt by being too slow. We get to see Flash fighting aginst his self yet again. We will have two Barry Allens as the Flash (like an actual dobleganger or mirrage, the bad Flash), finally we get to see then an even faster Reverse as the Red Death and also Zoom in his current form, seeking revenge. Yet an epic scenario, like the Flash & Reverse vs Godspeed.

@@ericx6969 Maybe, but Zoom still became more cruel. We can say Savitar is number 3 but not 2, 2 is clearly Zoom. So it is better to say that Reverse could also be below Savitar, but he isn't, so that brings Zoom to number 2. We get Savitar as the bad Flash. Savitar is bad Flash in season 8, Zoom is that thing and Revrse will come as the most cruel yet. Red Death will come to kill Iris and then we see the darkest yet side of our good guy Flash. There you have the plot.

I wonder if it was the Reverse Flash. Think about this we know Reverse can change his face and he would have had access to Barry's DNA at some point to use his device that he used in season 1, when he wanted to look like Harrison Wells. He even taunted Barry once by saying next time we meet he might have a different face. The producers themselves have confirmed they plan on bringing Reverse Flash back. Think about it he could be manipulating everything to finally get rid of the Flash.

i like that they’re getting back to the season 1 & 2 strategy of creating enough INTRIGUE each episode to draw you back to the show for the next, rather than season 3,4 and so on’s strategy of just having stuff HAPPEN and just HOPING you tune it. like in season 1, every single episode and the after-episode scene was intriguing, from the very first episode of discovering the guy in a wheelchair has a secret door in star labs and can walk. n in its own way it had a mystery element on TOP of it being a superhero show which was unique in its own way. and in my opinion, the intrigue factor is what these superhero shows NEED to be good and stay afloat. arrows intrigue came from its flashbacks and how the past always came back to haunt oliver, the flashes from these mysteries, wandavision, etc. and in order to keep intrigue, you have to push the plot forward at least SOMEWHAT in every episode. which is why it’s first season was so successful, every episode we were learning something new about SOMEONE or SOMETHING, which would leave us with some answered questions, as well as some new ones. no episode felt like filler. compare that to seasons after, where we kept getting MORE and MORE episodes where nothing that happened would impact the overall plot in a meaningful way, or leave us with questions that need to be answered, i.e. NO INTRIGUE, no reason for us to WANT to come back and watch the next episode, no incentive to even CARE whatsoever. and that’s essentially what seasons 3-7 were. so i’m glad that they’re getting back to formula, and i’m also glad that they’re finally treating barry like the MAIN CHARACTER of his own tv show again

This has to be Thawne’s doing. He has to be framing Barry. And how did Jeff get there so fast? Because that was very impressive when he showed up at the exact same time Barry did at the Hall Of Justice

This episode just felt so eerie. Like a dream or elseworld. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong to the point that I thought Despero was testing Barry's will. Barry is under investigation at his job, Star Labs got shut down, and a mind-meta was messing with him. Also, that Joe reveal! I thought it was weird when he wasn't in the first episode, but didn't think much about it since it was one episode. The matter was brought up again when we saw Kramer, but no Joe. Then Cecil mentioned going through some stuff and I got even more suspicious.

But earlier Kristen Kramer had a conversation with Barry saying "If Joe was here" and Barry wasn't surprised. That means he knew Joe was dead all along until somehow he didn't

My favourite line in this episode was, '' Barry what the hell is going on'' INJUSTICE

People forget that the legends of tomorrow I’ve been messing up the timeline which could change what’s happening in the flash as well

After watching this episode, the first theory I had was that it was Xotar who was having Barry under an illusion this entire time. When Despero told him he would lose his sanity the next day at the start of the episode, I knew it would be because of either Joe or Iris. When Barry fought Xotar the first time, he ran at her and she raised her hand before he suddenly appeared at the loft which had been damaged quite a bit. She put him in an illusion and he woke up after so much had occurred. The second time he fought her, she said she had already dug her claws deeply into his head enough already so I thought she had him in a major illusion at this rate. After he cuffed her and everything went back to normal and Barry talked about Joe, I was confused why Allegra told him it wasn't funny. Then he went to the house and found out that Joe is dead and I knew that that would be the snap for him. I thought that Xotar has him in a big illusion, but when Despero showed up to attack Barry and actually tried, I thought maybe not. It makes sense after reading the comments that it is most likely Thawne messing with the timeline on Barry so he can win because he was so upset and angry that Barry is so much faster than him now. All in all, excited to see what happens in the next episode and I am happy that Black Lightning is back, but apparently Batwoman is making a cameo as well soon. Great episode and twist this one was, so I am happy that they are doing better with the writing. Like I said already, excited for the next episode and for the rest of the Armageddon event.

But wasn't savitar erased from the timeline at the end of season 3? Besides the one true speedster fitting to mess with timelines is reverse flash

what if its actually thawne in barrys suit trying to mess with him and despero maybe grant is also playing reverse flash since tom cavanaugh retired what a crazy episode
