True that. I've the utmost respect for Harold Ramis and his work but that remake, well-intentioned as it was, failed as both an homage and as a standalone comedy. IMNSHO. R.I.P., Mr. Ramis.

I have never seen such a thorough illustration of the astute and brilliant mind of this great artist and human being. I mourn his loss to the world, but I'm grateful he left us so much to enjoy. Thank you for sharing this.

I found out recently that Charlie Chaplin also loved Benny Hill. And Benny once stayed with him at his house in Switzerland.

Barry's manner of telling this story had me fixed; intrigued; where I felt he was reading a brilliant monologue! A testament to his theatrical genius!

I saw little of Barry Humphries outside of a few Dame Edna appearances in the U.S. Wow! The man bristled with intelligence and keen observation. His relationship with Peter Cook seems like Nick Carraway's relationship with the Great Gatsby--fascinated, envious and a little regretful because it wasn't the friendship he longed for it to be.
