Dean, great idea. One thing I need is a stabilizer when the barrow is in the van. mine tips over because of the single wheel at the front and when the barrow is fully loaded it topples over when turn right. I need a temporary support next to the front wheel that i can push between the frame and the floor of the van. If it clipped to the frame near the battery then that would work. currently i use a bit of 2x2 wood. not very elligent.. best Mike

As i do a stabiliser kit already which is on ebay but only fits mk8 style with kick in bk leg 👍

It’s a great add on now on most lakes we have to dip our nets and sacks. But would like them to be on a hinge so It would pack away easily. That’s ok for a van but not for a full pack down

The side bars still fold down if you slightly offset each side when bolting on and they will stick up about 5 inches but there well strong you could rest anything on them or beside them it will still go in car fine, I like the idea of being on a hinge but the trouble with that if you go down a heavy bump theres a good chance of them flapping up and damaging your rods 👍
