In a bid to save an 8-year-old girl from becoming the victim of Sati, Anirudh marries a curious and tyrant girl Bondita. Agreed...in my opinion he never shown as bad character but a person with Stereotype thought and it is obvious at that time most people was with this mentality and in this how they (Anirudh and Bondita) will change thier mindset..But one thing is sad that he is expecting 11 year girl to give his grandchild

Aisa nahi hai ki Anirudh, bondita se pyar nahi karta hai. Wo karta hai but accept nahi karna chahta hai kyuki samaaj ke saamne pati patni ke rishte ke maayne alag hai. Wo bondita ko sirf bondita banne dekhna chahta, uski khud ki identity ke saath chahta hai log jaane, na ki anirudh ki patni bondita. Samaaj ke liye pati patni ka rishta mtlb physical hona. But here Anirudh is busy in making, his own definition of love, a paradigm of love that people will remember years after years. What you people are expecting from Anirudh to romance with a child who just hit puberty... Atleast she should know all these things beforehand and there should be her consent too. But, anirudh knows that she is too young to understand everything. Can't we just wait for some more years. Because you just can't romance without consent. Leave romance aside, this little gestures, his concern for her,the way he act infront of her isn't these things are enough to indicate you guys that he love her. Isiliye jab bhi koi kehta hai ki wo pyar karta hai, to wo kehta hai zimmedari hai kyuki anirudh, bondita ko, BONDITA ROY CHOWDHURY banana chahta hai naki, ANIRUDH BONDITA ROY CHOWDHURY......
