Bet most dont know this is the shop that Pratt and Whitney airplane engine maker got its name. Long story short these guys built some high tech (for the time) measuring equipment for the engine maker. Their payment was that their logo would go on every engine produced in exchange for the measuring equipment.

We had a very primitive P&W shaper, all the way up to a P&W Kellering machine. P&W owned Niles, Bement & Pond. We also have a 1900 Pond 54" lathe raised to swing 125" and 28' between centers We flame harden on.

Where are you located? Also, your version is newer than a friend of mines... His hoop is one solid piece.
