This Barred Owl saw me long before I saw it* when I got to probably about 15 feet from him he flew up to another tree and branch stealing my attention! He wasn’t worried or afraid of me in the least bit. I was slowly and quietly making my way through the woods is maybe why I wasn’t startling to him, I took out the camera and here’s my close-up encounter!
