That would remove a huge aspect of clash which is upgrade planning, what's the point of thinking about spacing or using books or runes etc if you can just use your hero otherwise? It's a win for us but a huge loss for supercell.

@@crafter4200 Well 90% of the time are spend on farming while one hardly get to war because heroes take a long time to upgrade. There's always a scenario where one don't get enough war experience because one or other heroes have to be upgraded. This is so frustrating.

What iTzu is not saying is that TH15 is coming soon because he has obligations not to say so towards SUPERCELL. Removal of extra barracks means making room for extra defense or structure when TH15 eventually comes. After thunder comes the rain,hence the Hammer Jam events are here as a harbinger to TH15. Pretty obvious.

I think the barracks change sounds like a good thing. Especially that you can still train troops and brew spells while they're upgrading, even if it's at half the speed. On one of my accounts I started upgrading my Dark Barracks and forgot that I wouldn't be able to train Hog Riders, and I always dreaded upgrading my spell factories.

Haven't watched it yet but from the barraks thing getting removed i think they are doing it so they can add percentages to the next th and not make buildings for example each 0. Something percent..they will all stay 1 percent that could also mean we might be getting a few buildings like one or 2 defence, a hero statue, maybe a few collectors and a complete new defence

In the future, Supercell might remove extra collectors, army camps, and storages. Then they might increase the capacity of the 1 building to the capacity of the builds together. 1. Storages: Four Level 11 Elixir Storages and Four Level 11 Gold Storages have a 7,000,000 capacity, so Supercell could make one Level 11 Gold Storage and one Level 11 Elixir Storage to have a 7,000,000 capacity. 2. They already removed barracks,that's 4 buildings,they can remove army camps as well,that's 3 buildings more,there are a lot of stuffs they can remove,like a canon,an Archer tower, maybe they can merge normal spell factory and dark spell factory. And not to mention the mines,it can free up to 14 building space

Rushing with good offence becomes much faster. Also even less ways to spend elixer now? They should make it some sort of upgrade to create a super barrack from all 4 barracks which you have to do on th14 to go to th15

I'm actually kinda disappointed to know they'll remove barracks, they were nice and had high hp to put as trash buildings outside in lower townhalls, the game is becoming too easier on offence rather than defence 🍺🍺🍻.

I like the barracks removal for not having to upgrade more building and when you upgrade you only lose half speed. Now the bases have to be adjusted.

i think they r making place for new buildings they might intro with new th lvls without having to making the map big and this also makes the base less crowded for high th lvls (mainly th14s)

Hammer jam means that th15 is coming next. (This is the 4th time they´ve had hammer jam, and every time the next TH level came directly afterwards. So stoked about this! Can´t wait for the sneak peeks to come.

I like the change. Makes new space for th15 buildings and less of a grind to upgrade barracks. Not a massive fan of the 50% slower thing. They could have made it like the clan castle where there’s no change but it’s not that big of a deal. A mini update they could do would be before purchasing things from the store, they ask you if you want to use a creator code. Maybe it might be more of an inconvenience for most people but I think I’ve only ever used it once because I just completely forget every time. Again, just a suggestion but I understand if they choose not to do that.

@@TBCspider They did make it a lot easier though. Before you had to go into the settings and scroll to the bottom to enter a creator code. Now you just click on the "C" in the shop and a popup box appears. If you don't see a checkbox next to the C then there isn't any code entered.

My plan for this week is to use the 1 gem boost spam sneaky goblins (especially once the event starts) and upgrade all my walls to max

I think the collectors could definitely be toned down and just upgraded, we have 7 so take out one each and distribute those out to the other 6, that leads us with 2 new buildings slots plus the 3 new ones from the barracks.

I think they're removing the extra barracks to put in room for the extra defenses coming with Town Hall 15. If they didn't, you could possibly destroy a building and get less than 1% which would be problematic. So this may confirm my suspicions about Town Hall 15 coming soon as more buildings get removed to fit in the new defenses.

The update itself sounds good. I think it could get interesting in 2 specific cases though: 1. You now get more percentages from an attack at low town hall levels, although you destroy less/ the weighting becomes coarser because 4 buildings are missing 2. When building bases, I always liked to use the barracks in areas against simple funneling because no sneak goblin works there, but a more expensive baby dragon or yeti had to be used. With 2 collectors, 2 goblins are enough They're just small things, but I'd be interested to hear what your thoughts are on them. Edit: totally forgot that this is the english channel. The englisch translation was made afterwards. Das Update klingt an sich gut. Ich denke, dass es aber in 2 spezifischen Fällen interessant werden könnte: 1. Erhält man jetzt bei niedrigen Rathausleveln mehr Prozente bei einem Angriff, obwohl man weniger zerstört/ die Gewichtung wird gröber weil nunmal 4 Gebäude fehlen 2. Beim Basebuilding habe ich die Kaseren immer gerne in Bereichen gegen einfaches funneln genutzt weil dort kein Schleichkobold funktioniert, sondern ein teureres Baby dragon oder yeti genutzt werden musste. Bei 2 Sammlern reichen halt 2 Kobolde Sind zwar nur kleine Sachen aber würde mich mal interessieren was eure Gedanken dazu sind.

This is helpful to us, specially the multiple account holders. Together with Queen Walkers Stephanie's win in the Championship, giving inspiration, I will continue with all of my accounts. Thankz ITZU.

I would suggest busy your all builder (except 1 builder for only walls) on small upgrade that finish within this event end and then keep all builder on huge upgrade. Only way to get 100% out of hammer jam.

I personally prefer book of building for maxing key defenses like eagle scatter inferno or xbow. 19/20 days. Book of heroes is a close second or even better once your key defenses are maxed. (Not worth a book of building for a random cannon) Royale champion or warden should be about 7 days or longer at around level 14/15 That gives about 14-16 days saved for 2 hero boos for 1000 gems. While 925 gems on a book of building can save 17-20 days.

How have I not been buying loot and staying in legends to build up resources like you!!! Nice strat! Startin rn.

I'm curious how these are going to get removed. Will we wake up one day with holes in our bases or will we be forced to update, perhaps even holding off the TH15 release until later in the year so we all make room and that forces the removal. If all barracks are the same level, can we predict which will remain so bases can be rebuilt to take the reduction into account?

Removing extra collectors would be a much bigger change than removing extra barracks. For starters, there are so many more collectors which are used as filler buildings to slow down troops that don't have a priority target. It would be a significant nerf to defense across the board. And more importantly farming would need to be completely reworked. One of the most common farming methods for all THs is barch which picks off the collectors on the outside of a base. Putting all the collector loot in a single place would be a truly massive overhaul of how people need to farm.

now those tips that applied to the barracks no longer applies and much more easier training than the last last one the one were you have to cook each on barracks

Removing the extra barracks is probably also to make room for more buildings with new TH levels in the future

Hey Iztu, have been watching you for years and always was wondering. How bad it would be if you can set the ammount of attacks/deffense you want for the next day to happen. I mean its so annoying to stay in Legends when you always have 8 attacks/defences. Therefore you dont ave that much time to do those attacks. I honestly think if you can set the ammount of attacks/defence the day before inLegends league, it would be much better. What are your thoughts on that?

I believe that in future, they'll also have to reduce the number of storages, gold mines, elixir collectors, armycamps etc to fit in the new buildings so that it doesnt cross the 100buildings margin

My first thought Itzu, was what happens to the hp of the builder huts that get removed? Does 1 hut have 4x the hp now or is it easier for an average joe player to get triples now? As a regular 98% 2-star player, I think this is gonna push me over the top! 😂🙏

Removing the barracks also tips the scale further away from elixer for upgrades, what will that elixer go to now?!? I already generally run out of things that require elixer to upgrade before things that require gold. I guess you can use it for capital gold but that ties up a builder.

Is it worth going up from th13 to 14 during the event ? Get the final big upgrades with big discount even if I have 5lvl on heroes left before maxing ?

in regards to the barracks, i think that is one of the worst decisions the developers have made so far. and the reason i think it is so bad is due to the 100 buildings limit. i dont agree with the fact that there should only be 100 buildings, i wish that the higher one's th was, the bigger was his village. for a th 15 or 14 the village should be of the size of the clan capital peak. and also, the fact that i cant see the whole village when zooming out is horrible. it should be just like in clan capital!!!

I'm actually a bit against the barrack change. Decreasing the number of buildings will force changes in base building. This will weaken many base designs that are out there in Legends League, especially those that uses buildings to take up more space and bait out certain troop pathing. I also think that increasing the training process by 50% is much worse than the current troop-training design. This will lower the values of training potions by a very big margin, making farming for (especially) f2p players much more time-consuming than ever before. I do wish that Supercell can lower the training debuff to a more acceptable number like 35-40% so that f2p players would also be able to have a more enjoyable time...

I haven't read the updates in complete detail, but from what the video is saying (or how I'm interpreting it), training debuff during upgrades will be a lot higher compared to what it is right now... They did not mention decreasing the upgrading time for the barracks as well. I wouldn't want to sit there for 14 days with a +50% training time, for every attack I do. Legends league players won't be as affected--since you only get 8 attacks a day--but what about those below Legends league? I also see your reasoning with the upcoming TH15, but I only see this update as a way to compromise percentage problems that only players at end game will face. What about those that are still not at end game yet?

It should had good if it is time reduction bcz in higher TH level time is a huge issue for upgrading while buildings are upgrading in that time we can collect the resources so cost reduction is not that usefull but as u said walls and heros take less resources that is usefull..

They should do a -50% upgrade time event... Getting resources is pretty easy, especially on lower town halls. The only thing that hammer jam would be really good for is th14 wall grind. Because even on th13 you should get all walls maxed by the time you upgrade all buildings with a gold pass (which at this point most of the players probably use). It's really an event for people like Galadon who farms th14 walls on multiple accounts and wants to be done before th15 update xD

With the barracks been removed we should get all that loot back. Sounds like 4 new building are coming 😮

Since th 12(only th 11 walls and below) walls didn't get affected by the wall discount update not too long ago I will take advantage of that.

With gold pass the walls on my th14 are only 2.8M. It feels like I'm cheating lol. I will be completely max before th15.

So when we do choose to upgrade the one barracks we do have, can we still train troops and attack?

If they are not adding new buildings to replace the lost ones in th15 it might be bad for base design

Important only for walls, if we upgrade buildings 1 builder 1 building each..by the time builder over event over...time is important too they shud reduce the time too

My loot is overflowing even at th11😅 Supercell should add a way to trade home village loot for builder base loot .

You are saying that there is going to be only 1 barracks then what's gonna happen when we upgrade our only barracks, will it have same effect as spell factories upgrade and stop troop training or will the time will be increased

I just finished upgrading one barracks to train dragon riders and started 2 more; I should cancel now and get my elixir back huh? Is the deal still 50% refund? I wonder how that interacts with hammer jam...

The 100 building thing is a soft limit that's self imposed. I think this is a good change because the extra barracks are redundant.

@@teodorlb there are several reasons. This info is from ama and interviews btw. They don't want bases to get too complex. They want to promote creativity. We got the th weapon as a result of this self imposed cap btw.

I can’t even use that hammer time event, because I just started my archer towers upgrades no builders left and it takes 15 days. That’s how screwed I am.

Bro what you explained about barracks in first half or wrong , they said if the barracks is under upgrade then also we can train troops but slower than orginal time that is 50% .If we will have 1 barracks from next update eventhough the troops training time will be same as now of present.

Purely progressionwise book of building is better value than hero books. I always go with hero books as I'd rather have minimum downtime on them so I can war more.

Is th 15 update in October or in December?

Since they're removing 4 buildings I'm guessing there'll be finally a new big defense th15 no surprise and maybe more inferno or scatter? I doubt it, probably just more archer towers and cannon and maybe a fifth air defense.

I am new th13 I’ve unlocked Drag Rider on only 1 barracks, and other 3 are not upgraded, 1 was upgrading I cancelled it. 😊

If i knew they were removing barracks soon i should have just upgraded one of my barracks when i moved up to th 12 like a week ago seems like a waste now xD

While I don't think the barracks change is a bad thing, I feel that if it is being done mainly to keep within 100 buildings, then that's not a good solution. I think there needs to be decimal percentages now.

I think a really cool update would be choosing if the tornado trap will spin clockwise or anticlockwise. Just an extra thing for the builders 😄

I'm F2P at th12. I save all my Gems for "Book of Fighting" only. You have 6 builders and a free hero book once a month with challenges and usually a second book with Clan Games. To keep your entire base upgrading evenly requires you to focus your gems and hammers on Troops/Spells. 600 Capital Gold goes into 3xResearch Potions which reduces 3 days of upgrade time per week. A lot of people disagree with me on this point of view, but I completed th11 this way, and my builders still outpaced my research center by a month.

Something similar happened in clash royale, they did 50% off on all upgrades and within a week new levels were introduced, could this mean th15 is right around the corner?

I would always indirectly upgrade barracks only by being able to upgrade the army camp once for the new troops and once for more capacity. so the percent problem would be gone,

If you are a free to play player then the most efficient way to spend gems is with a builder potion with all the builders working so it affects all building time
