HELLO! If you like my videos and would like to help me somehow please read!
Recently my positive organ had to suffer some upgrades and the wind blower does not work anymore for it. Unfortunately my instrument is dead until i have a new blower but it is very expensive, not manufactured in Brazil and worst, even more inaccessible now because of Brazil economic situation and high currency devaluation.

    This is the most beautiful version of the Canon I may have ever heard. Perfection. So much heart, so soulful. And only one copy of the piece in front of you! And the helicopter was a nice touch. You guys have swept me away. Do you have a CD?? Thank you so much for this video.

    Another masterpiece with helicopter accompaniment like K. H. Stockhausen's piece for recorder and 2 helicopters. Heard it once in Boston and my son, who was three at the time said 'Mommy, I'm scared!' I took him out of the concert room. People told me later that my little son was right. It was very strange and very loud. The helicopters were recorded before the concert.

    This song is infamously known as the bane of every cello players existence. Listen to how dull the lower string's part is. It's the 8 notes repeated dozens of times.

  • @EarlyMusicinadifferentway

    @EarlyMusicinadifferentway

    6 жыл бұрын

    Well, it´s true. But many other grounds in XVII and XVIII century uses this same repetition system. I know cellists suffer when they have to play it but believe we have some liberty to improvise some different rhythms under the bass line (considering of course the high voices melody) when we play it. it can be less tedious :)
